I wanted to share my experience as a Lucid Air Touring owner (June 2023) and see if others are facing similar issues.
  • Range issue: I’m consistently getting ~170–180 miles real-world on an 80% charge vs ~340 expected
  • Safety systems: Front/rear protection engages even when there’s no obstacle
  • TPMS: Incorrect tire pressure warnings even when all tires are at proper PSI
  • Auto park: Not reliable at all
  • Mobile key / Bluetooth: Car doesn’t unlock unless I manually open the app and reconnect
  • Android Auto: Slow and inconsistent
On top of that, I paid $9K for DreamDrive Pro, expecting timely updates. It’s been almost 3 years, and I still don’t see meaningful improvements—while newer models like the Gravity seem to be getting better features.
Service experience has been equally frustrating:
  • Issues dismissed or not properly tested
  • Told I need to reproduce problems multiple times for them to even consider
  • Was even told that if I don’t sign off on service closure, future service may not be supported
For a ~$100K car, this is honestly disappointing.
Curious if others (especially early buyers) are experiencing:
  • Similar range gaps
  • DreamDrive Pro delays
  • Sensor / system issues
Would really appreciate hearing your experiences or how you’ve handled this.

I have also had bad service experiences and constant problems with my Air, just one after another or constant failures to fix it.

Of the three you mentioned, the only one I have I had forgotten about, which is the rear collision braking which i had to disable because its so bad it prevents me from backing out of my garage. I had forgotten about that, since its in service for its third month, I should mention it.

Paying $1625 a month for this is the most frustrating

  • Range issue: depends on many factors…..
  • Safety systems: better to be safe than hit something….i would prefer more sensitivity in these sensors
  • TPMS: Get it checked by lucid
  • Auto park: No manufacturer has a good auto park - they all suck
  • Mobile key / Bluetooth: Yes, issues with key…I carry all 3, key fob, card in my wallet and phone. I have no issues.
  • Android Auto: Maybe you have poor reception
Dream drive pro is a waste of money right now, but hopefully improvements will come. I wish these companies don’t promise things they can’t deliver immediately.

Looks like you need your sensor suite recalibrated.

1. I get 250-290mi total range (100-0%) in my 2025 AT with 20" wheels.

2. No issues with the safety systems

3. No issues with TPMS

4. I've never seen Auto Park work well in any vehicle.

5. Mobile Key works ok. not 100% reliable for proximity unlock, but even when it doesn't work it almost always unlocks immediately when I press in the door handle. When I have the key fob, the proximity unlock has worked for me 100%.

6. Android Auto I only had it using wireless for a short while but on the current firmware it connected and worked reliably. I mostly use it wired now though, mainly so I can choose when it connects because I've come to mostly use the native interface and Nav, mainly because of the screen size for AA.

7. I only have DD premium so I can't speak to any Pro functionality, but the adaptive cruise control works reliably with no issues.

On my '23 AGT on 20" wheels I get below advertised range but I also tend to floor it a lot so not surprised. I turned off the automatic stopping function when parking and would agree auto park is pretty useless. Don't have the other issues you're describing.

I wish Dream Drive Pro was capable of eventual point-to-point, but I've found it to be pretty reliable for highway driving.

Sure, here's my perspective after a year and change in my '25 AT:

  • Range Issue: Can't say that's been my experience. My best range exceeded the quoted rating by a small bit, PA to central VA ~400 miles on a full charge.
  • Safety Systems: A bit better than other vehicles I've driven. I haven't had it trip unexpectedly yet, except maneuvering out of my garage. I'd say it's one of the least unsafe safety systems I've had to put up with.
  • TPMS: no issues there, reasonably close to my own measurements (within 3-4 psi)
  • Auto Park: I've only used it a few times, worked each time. not comfortable with the way it stresses the power steering pump
  • Mobile key / Bluetooth: quite unreliable, I'll agree with you there
  • Android Auto: I don't use it, much prefer the native interface

Specifically didn't purchase DD Pro. Really don't trust those systems, and I don't even pre-order video games let alone automotive features 😄

Service has been nearly flawless for me, and always pleasant to work with. I suspect this correlates to how jammed up your local service center is, among other things.

Auto Park works very well on a Tesla. On Lucid is COMPLETELY useless.
Disagree, I got so irritated with our Model 3 after trying a few times. I just park the car manually- quicker. Autopark only useful when you can't open the doors.

Yeah auto park on Tesla sucks. My Model Y tried to park itself in the cart return at Target. It is not any better than Lucid.

I’m coming up on my 3 years of ownership too, 2023 Air Pure AWD. Couple of big items has been replaced. A year ago the Front Drive Unit, and about couple months ago, the HV battery.

Like I said on other post, until now we still don’t have DriveCam and Security cam, with all the cameras on DDPro. When I had my Rivian R1T, it took about 6 months to get DriveCam and GearGuard Cam.

I had a reservation for Gravity Lunar Titanum and canceled it couple months ago, I’m just going to wait for the Lucid midsize.

I get all the frustrations and annoyance with the car. Best of luck for us early adopters.

‘23 touring picked up in march, 41k miles, still love to drive it! In fact for the one time I had to go to service center in Atlanta (5hrs away) I chose to drive instead of having them shop it - and got the GT loaner while they swapped the battery!
- range: I have 20” wheels and generally get a little below advertised, but I mostly drive highway at non-optimal speed
- safety systems: pretty happy with, a few extra cautious cross-traffic warnings but nothing really consistent or annoying
- Tpms: no problems; on 2nd set of tires
- auto park - never tried it!
- mobile key: works really well for me! My fobs basically sit in their original box way away from car, so 96% of time, works fine, 3% of time I gotta pull my phone out… 1% time I use the card!
- dream drive pro - I think the hands free and lane change capabilities were pretty big updates, were they not? Having said that - it’s not perfect but I prefer acc anyway
- android auto - can’t speak to it!

Sad to see others with so many problems - hope u get some of those things fixed!

- range is below what I expect. On road trips I stop ever 2 hours so range isn't that big of an issue. But it should be better IMO.
- never tried auto park, but given it's part of the car, I would expect it to work.
- the key fob/phone/card is a disaster.
- SiriusXM/Spotify/etc. is a disaster. Hopefully the person who came up with the idea of using cellular for SiriusXM isn't around anymore.

The car is fun to drive, but in no way the best car I have owned as others say. If my lease was up today, I would be hard pressed to go with another Lucid.

I have a 23 AT with 31k miles as we speak on 19" tires with DDP/SSP
  • Range issue: I am at overall efficiency of 3.68 m/Kw with both Northeast winter and summer. This week, the weather have been between 55 - 65 and I am getting 4.4 m/kWh which means ~ 342 overall real world and ~410 this week range.
  • Safety systems - None. I am notified about left/right cross traffic, when I am closer to curb during day time (AKA curb rash alert - this doesn't function in night time) and when reversing into my garage.
  • TPMS - I had a tire blow out and went to Mavis for replacement the tire and no TPMS warnings.
  • Auto Park - Works flawlessly for me. In order for it to work, the car looks for parking spaces between cars. If it's an empty lot then it won't work
  • Mobile Key / Bluetooth: Mobile Key works 9/10 for me. 1/10 I have to pull my phone from my pocket and then the car unlocks. I have passive unlock turned off meaning I will gently push on door handle and it will unlock. I carry ONLY key card and key fobs are sitting in my wardrobe since Day 1. However, when I am taking calls on MS Teams, I sound very far when connected with AC but not on regular phone calls. Not sure why is the case..
  • Android Auto: I have iOS
  • DDP: Dream Drive has been flawless for me on highways. It stays in dead center. It does not freak out when cuts Infront of me. Lane changes can be better at some times but does the job now safely

Having said that, I still think that Lucid should deliver on their promises of Dash Cam and others DreamDrive Pro features.

Yeah auto park on Tesla sucks. My Model Y tried to park itself in the cart return at Target. It is not any better than Lucid.
Wow, so different than what we experienced on an unattended 2 hour test drive of a 26 MY. Tesla has a wild setup on Long Island where you go to an unattended location, at a hotel, where a M3 & MY are parked. After downloading the Tesla app and uploading your driver’s license you can unlock the car and are free to use it for your reserved 2 hour test drive.

Not only was the FSD (supervised, as Tesla puts it) flawless as my wife and I set various destinations on & off the highway, the auto park was stunningly good and easy to use. I later picked up a friend and he too was stunned at how good the autonomous features were. In fact as we headed to a local destination I had set, an ambulance was headed in the opposite direction we were going, which resulted in our tester slowing down and pulling over to the right. Very impressive. The decisions it made while driving, as well as the timing in those decisions, closely mimicked what I would have done had I been driving the car.

This was a world of difference from my late 2017 MS that tried to kill me on several occasions, while engaging the self driving feature. Likewise the auto park feature of my 17 MS rarely worked and curbed my wheels the very first time I tried it.
