First time for me on 3.5.1 since early versions of Gravity software, but I sat in the car yesterday (parked in garage) and even though doors opened I saw 2 black screens...and eerie nothing. Pressing on brake in order for the seat to take its usual driver position didn't work. Gear shifter didn't work. I waited for maybe 30 sec, shook key fob and then said 'screw it' and drove the other car, since I had no time to investigate the issue. Later that day car worked as expected. Maybe the 520miles drive on the night before made it too tired 
, but it charged up to aroudnd 70+ % at that moment already. Weird stuff...

Been there, done that. More times than I'd like to remember.
FYI. I discovered a while ago that the sensors seem to only react to the direction of the steering. i.e. if one is going in reverse and has the wheel turned to the left, the arc to the right at the front of the car that it will be passing through will not be in the active sensor field. Which seems wrong in my book.

Did anyone else get an email about a key fob update? I don't have issues with my fob but I know others do. Hopefully this fixes it.

My car came with 3.5.1 already. I've never needed to reboot QNX. The Android VM though, quite a few times.
I did. I am not having any fob problems, so I will simply file this away for future needs.

I'm a bit skeptical that the problem is a flaw with QNX itself. It's pretty battle tested across an enormous range of devices, almost of all which are operating in larger numbers than Lucid's fleet. Of course, anything is possible. Still, I agree with the general theory that the resets and sleeps available to vehicle owners are not a complete restart to the degree that the updates provide. It's possible that all the software restarts, but there's creeping crud in whatever stored data persists across reboots/resets. Hard to really know without insider information about their software architecture.That seems to imply at the level of the QNX OS. How nice, that can't be problematic
@deemz yep, I had this one as well a couple of times recently. I found that infotainment reboot still works in this state, although you may not get a chime at 30 sec timer, but it still reboots after you release the buttons and the pedal.
I did not. Maybe they are slowly sending to everyone. Could you by any chance share a screenshot / copy of the email content? Did they mention any specific issue that this update supposed to address?

I received the email. The key fob software update addresses inconsistent locking or unlocking and short key fob battery life. It's not a new fob software update, but as many in the forum are still having fob issues, it's possible that not everyone got the message or performed the fob software update properly.
As an editorial aside, note that fob isn't capitalized. It's a word, not an acronym.
"Hello [owner],
You may need to update your Lucid Gravity key fob software. Your Lucid Gravity key fob receives software updates directly through the Lucid Mobile App.
If you’re experiencing issues such as inconsistent locking or unlocking, or reduced key fob battery life, we recommend checking to ensure your key fob software is up to date.
How to check for a key fob update:
- Open the Lucid Mobile App.
- From the main page, select Software Update, even if it says up to date.
- Toggle the top section to Key Fob.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to check for an update
Important battery information:
For optimal key fob performance, the only battery we currently recommend for the Lucid Gravity is a CR2450 Panasonic Lithium battery without bitter coating. This is the only battery that meets our internal testing requirements for reliable operation.
Using the recommended battery and keeping your key fob software up to date helps ensure the best possible experience with your Lucid Gravity.

Still nothing serious on our Gravity with 1800+ miles.
Sometimes it seems like people just enjoy emphasizing bugs.

The build quality is pretty bad on the exterior, the panels are jacked and the trim has some weird patina on the doors, but maybe it’s because it’s a loaner. Interior is nice tho. Big Screen feels like wasted space. UX 3.0 is much better. Screen kinda laggy. Rides very nice. Not push it cuz it’s a loaner. But it feels like it could be fast. Sanctuary is…idk.
It’s gotta be just certain hardware revisions that cause huge problems in some of them.
The exterior of my Gravity is fine, except for the light strip on the frunk, which Lucid replaced.
Screen response is good.
Haven't used sanctuary much.
Just entropy.
This one has uneven window trim and the panel above the hatch is like a half inch crooked. Door gaps a little rough.
Unacceptable for the price in my opinion. But it’s a loaner.
HVAC has a weird rumble
Significantly more refined car than the Air tho. If they could bring this software experience to the Air that would be awesome.
