Q1 deliveries much worse than expected

^ & don’t get me started on how terrible the retail questions are every single earnings call…
yep, every earnings call the moment we hit Q&A I immediately close the tab 🤣

By now i started believing this questions are staged. Lucid have background of this questions and they handpick the same.

I'm still regularly buying Lucid stock with money I can afford to lose. And Lucid stock is the tiniest fraction of my portfolio. If someone went out of their way to re-mortgage their home to buy Lucid stock or put the entirety of their pension into it, they've got bigger problems than the price of the Lucid stock.
Exactly, even LCID as a % of the PIF portfolio is effectively a tiny satellite position....

and also this obsession with stock prices as a whole is getting absurd. Shareholders expecting constant growth non-stop is just not sustainable and only encourages short-term thinking, when engineering anything to scale needs several years and even decades worth of planning. I'm a shareholder and I find other shareholders unbearable.

Constant growth non-stop? How about any growth at all, for any period of time?

The only reason to invest is to obsess over the stock price - you get no say in management decisions, product development, service optimization, etc. What else are you gonna do other than obsess about the stock price? That is literally the only thing you can do.

Depends in investment horizon and whether you think Lucid will be successful.

I’m holding until I retire so don’t care what stock price is right now.

Averaging down with the PIF!

Why would you pick questions that will show the company in bad light?

It’s like you going to an interview and telling them to ask you about bad decisions you made.

It’s laughable how some people think Lucid needs to be completely open, transparent about every single thing.

No company is like that They just need follow SEC rules.

Some people here need to grow up

You can wait.

Nope - the opportunity cost of being in a garbage stock while we are in one of the biggest bull market runs in history with the AI trade is way too large and you will never catch up - ever. No reason to wait until Lucid gets their sugar together when there are so many other places invest RIGHT NOW. Buy the car if you want but don’t compound your errors with buying more and more of the stock.

Each is his own….you believe you invest, you scared you take your losses and sell.

I’m not buying any AI stocks at these prices.

This is why I’m investing more. You can make your own decisions. This is despite 29 day stop sale.

Strong Growth: Lucid was the only pure-play US EV maker to post year-over-year growth in California during Q1 2026, bucking the trend of falling sales from competitors like Tesla

Biggest bull run in history that is being single-handedly carried by so-called "AI" companies . Take those away and all the gains are gone.

Things take time. And it can be a long time.

The first EV was made in the late 1800;s yet it is only in the last decade that EVs have demonstrated wide-spread commercial viability.
Hiroo Kinoshita lay the groundwork for lithography in the 1980s. He and his colleagues' work was laughed at for years and years and years. Now, ASML is the sole supplier of Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography to TSMC. The company responsible for the computer chips we use in our devices everyday.
GLP-1 has been around for 20 years, yet it is only recently that it has achieved widespread commercialization.
The so-called "AI" we have today didn't just start with OpenAI and ChatGPT. This work had started all the way since the 1960's and had gone through multiple cycles of "AI" winters before we finally reached the commercial scale today.
Steel, the material that has been in used for thousands of years, is still undergoing more research and development as we demand both stronger and lighter requirements for it.

If you're stressing about the stock price every hour of every day, then investing isn't for you. I'm in this for the long run, and I'm willing to wait for decades if needed.

If product is mediocre, then I would agree. But now that most software issues are fixed, and being a very good handling vehicles, with luxury vibe, it’s just a matter of time when they click.

But this is a good suggestion, if you constantly worry about stock price, by an index fund.

I took all my money out of AI, that boat won’t sail much further.

The 37% 1q26 sales growth was totally due to adding Gravity to the mix (for sale 1q26 not for sale 1q25). The first quarter begining after full Gravity ramp up is 3q25. So thats when a good sales comparison can be made. However the loss of tax credits just before the quarter will make those results suspect.

I thought the more interesting part of California registrations was Lucid (1,315) catching up with Rivian (1,841) despite essentially operating 2/3 months in Q1. Perhaps a precursor to what we can expect the rest of this year? See below for reference.

Except all the funds that you "take away" from AI are going to be invested somewhere, and that is going to support market gains in other sectors.

Not once Rivian releases the R2. I'm sure Lucid will do well though without comparison for the rest of the year, assuming they can keep the Gravity rolling (and hopefully less problematic than the first attempt).

I was at the Lucid center here in ATL last weekend. It was jam packed with most people looking at the Gravity. Saw it as a good sign and the sale associate confirmed that weekends are always that busy over there.

Not to the same extent as the "AI" gains investors have deluded themselves into believing

R2 is a different market. But frankly, a mini me of the R1 might get some hype initially but I’m sure that will die down.

Lucid is engineering a better product.
