yep, every earnings call the moment we hit Q&A I immediately close the tab^ & don’t get me started on how terrible the retail questions are every single earnings call…

By now i started believing this questions are staged. Lucid have background of this questions and they handpick the same.^ & don’t get me started on how terrible the retail questions are every single earnings call…
Of course they are lolBy now i started believing this questions are staged. Lucid have background of this questions and they handpick the same.
Exactly, even LCID as a % of the PIF portfolio is effectively a tiny satellite position....I'm still regularly buying Lucid stock with money I can afford to lose. And Lucid stock is the tiniest fraction of my portfolio. If someone went out of their way to re-mortgage their home to buy Lucid stock or put the entirety of their pension into it, they've got bigger problems than the price of the Lucid stock.
and also this obsession with stock prices as a whole is getting absurd. Shareholders expecting constant growth non-stop is just not sustainable and only encourages short-term thinking, when engineering anything to scale needs several years and even decades worth of planning. I'm a shareholder and I find other shareholders unbearable.
You can wait.Constant growth non-stop? How about any growth at all, for any period of time?
The only reason to invest is to obsess over the stock price - you get no say in management decisions, product development, service optimization, etc. What else are you gonna do other than obsess about the stock price? That is literally the only thing you can do.
Depends in investment horizon and whether you think Lucid will be successful.Exactly, even LCID as a % of the PIF portfolio is effectively a tiny satellite position....
Why would you pick questions that will show the company in bad light?By now i started believing this questions are staged. Lucid have background of this questions and they handpick the same.
You can wait.
Each is his own….you believe you invest, you scared you take your losses and sell.Nope - the opportunity cost of being in a garbage stock while we are in one of the biggest bull market runs in history with the AI trade is way too large and you will never catch up - ever. No reason to wait until Lucid gets their sugar together when there are so many other places invest RIGHT NOW. Buy the car if you want but don’t compound your errors with buying more and more of the stock.
Biggest bull run in history that is being single-handedly carried by so-called "AI" companies . Take those away and all the gains are gone.Nope - the opportunity cost of being in a garbage stock while we are in one of the biggest bull market runs in history with the AI trade is way too large and you will never catch up - ever. Except all the funds that you "take away" from AI are going to be invested somewhere, and that is going to support market gains in other sectors.Biggest bull run in history that is being single-handedly carried by so-called "AI" companies . Take those away and all the gains are gone.
Not once Rivian releases the R2. I'm sure Lucid will do well though without comparison for the rest of the year, assuming they can keep the Gravity rolling (and hopefully less problematic than the first attempt).I thought the more interesting part of California registrations was Lucid (1,315) catching up with Rivian (1,841) despite essentially operating 2/3 months in Q1. Perhaps a precursor to what we can expect the rest of this year? See below for reference.

Not to the same extent as the "AI" gains investors have deluded themselves into believingExcept all the funds that you "take away" from AI are going to be invested somewhere, and that is going to support market gains in other sectors.
R2 is a different market. But frankly, a mini me of the R1 might get some hype initially but I’m sure that will die down. Not once Rivian releases the R2. I was at the Lucid center here in ATL last weekend. It was jam packed with most people looking at the Gravity. Saw it as a good sign and the sale associate confirmed that weekends are always that busy over there.
