Valet Parking in NYC

Delivery is April 23rd and I am driving to NYC on the 24th. I have confirmed with the hotel that they do allow Lucid Gravity GT to park in their garage. So my question is should I give valet the key fob or key card? I'm concerned that the key card might be too confusing for the valet team. Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

I have an Air & keep my car in a monthly garage. I leave the key w/ them. I keep the card in my wallet & both are linked to the app on my phone.

I park my cars in the NYC garages regularly. All of the garage attendants are very familiar with Valet Key cards - I have handed them key cards of my Tesla and it has never been a problem except once (more on that below). While I have not yet taken the Gravity to NYC yet, I’ll likely do that in the near future. In fact the Gravity has clear marking on the B pillar for using the key cards which Tesla MY does not. You may just need to tell them to use it on the wireless charger to drive (but most likely they will be able to figure it out themselves)

Now the challenge I did have with valet parking the Tesla in a NYC garage was they handed back someone else’s key card when I picked up the car. Now it did not cause any problem immediately since Tesla works very well phone key - I simply drove off without realizing it. A couple of weeks later when I was in the city again and at a different garage, they were stuck with the car parked in the middle of the driveway and the wrong key card !!

Thank fully the garage guys were nice and professional - they did not charge me for the mess up and having to get 2-3 guys to use Dollies on all 4 wheels and move it out of the way!! Lesson learnt- I have now added my initials on all the key cards including for the Gravity.

I keep them both together in a keychain with a card holder just in case the fob fails

Follow up question - what setting to set the regen braking at. I’m asking if “high” regen is annoying for the valet parking attendants?
