What's your wish list for Lucid Gravity

I don't think people realize that the same issues impacting the FOB's performance will likely affect PaaK as well
Please clarify this as I’m not understanding why this would be. My Air PAAK leverages a Bluetooth connection. But I don’t think my fob does. Would PAAK for Gravity not use Bluetooth?

Right, my understanding is that the Gravity's is ultra wideband, and it'll be the same connection for both the fob and the phone. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Unlikely. It would use digital key through Apple/Android, which uses UWB, but also NFC if you hold it up to the B-pillar.

Also, my suspicion remains that the issue with the fob is the fob, not the car. This is evidenced by the fact that when my wife’s fob has issues, my fob continues to work fine.

Agree, I think it’s actually a hardware problem in the car itself and nothing to do with the fob now. Which means, that’s going to be a fun problem to solve…….

As others have mentioned, the least Lucid can do is throw us a bone and add a sound when the car locks. I’m getting sick and tired of having to look back multiple times to see if the car has locked or not.

My speculation is that that's the reason why they are delaying the release of PaaK. If owners think it's the panacea and will solve the fob issues, they are gonna be up for a disappointing surprise.
My 2 cents based on the tons of cents I invested in this $125k sunk cost 🙂

Not my area of expertise but afaik key fobs use low frequency RF and PaaK would be BT and UWB.

All three could be on a single PCB or SoC, is this documented somewhere previously?

They all use UWB on gravity, and Bluetooth on air.

No “classic” RF.

No RF.
Wow I didn't know, thank you, learn something every day.

In that case, I would bet on software issue for now.

Not going to list anything promised or something that's an issue that needs fixing as those should all be in queue anyways.

1. Panoramic roof frosting/dimming feature: This would have been amazing and should have come with a vehicle at this price point with this much tech.
2. Rear view mirror camera: Same as #1
3. Captain's chairs: either standard or an option to upgrade
4. Plug & Charge with Ionna and Pilot/EVGo: With all charging systems really, would be nice if all EVs did this

That's about it for me. The car either has or is getting everything else I want.
I am in process of (probably) getting a Gravity. I too agree the roof needs a dimming feature- based on my Air GT that would be wonderful!

If all the software updates in the last 10 months haven’t solved it then one can only start to think it’s beyond software at this point.

Reasonable. But I don't want to underestimate their software incompetence just yet. 😅

My GGT chirps when it locks....but only if I press the fob lock button, and it's sort of overly quiet.
90% of the time when I walk away w/o touching the fob the back light bar fades from the sides towards the center as the front lights flash and go off and the mirrors fold in (and whatever music I had blasting goes quiet)...but ya, definitely have to turn around and check so with all that going on why can't it chirp as well?
...seems like pretty simple SW coding but what do I know?? - ask @TahoeMichael

1. Link front and rear windshield wiper auto features together. If I want one on then I want the other on too. The rear should be at like 1/3 the speed of the front one max. Even the current intermittent is too fast for the rear.
The current implementation of the rear wiper is terrible (and unsafe). It requires 3 interactions with the screen while driving in poor conditions to run the wiper in the rear. Even just slowing the intermittent down (a lot) for the rear wiper would help solve this. High on my list of “low hanging fruit” for Lucid to correct.

Agree. Lowest setting is still 3x too fast. I really hate having a wiper going across a dry windshield so I turn it off…and then back on…. And then off again. All while having to reach forward beyond ergonomic comfort and distracting me while driving.

And yes to quiet beep when locks upon walking away. So silly to not have this. As a medical professional I assume this would take approximately 6 minutes of coding. Just do it already

I'd appreciate a build option to be able to swap out the drop trays in the back for seat pockets. I can't drive from back there to enjoy them anyway. ;)
