Final Post – Lucid Gravity Order Experience

Hi, @JoshuaBleu.

I am on the Customer Experience team at Lucid. Thank you for sharing your purchase experience. I am sorry that it did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately, we were unable to keep Lunar Titanium Gravity orders open for an additional period of time. I apologize if this had not been sufficiently communicated and for the language that was used in the cancellation email, which is from our standard order cancellation template.

I shared your post with members of our senior sales team, and they appreciate the feedback you’ve shared. We understand the importance of consistent and clear communication. If you would like to reconsider purchasing a Lucid Gravity, please feel free to send me a direct message. We are happy to assist you.

I’d be curious to know why those LT orders couldn’t be kept open and had to be cancelled this way. This is a decision someone somewhere had to make for some reason.

Just FYI, I sent a DM to @marqie. Lets see how Lucid responds.

Our Gravity has been great for us so far. We're taking it on another road trip next week. With 3.5 years in an Air and just a few weeks into our Gravity, I've learned to relax a bit and work with Lucid rather than expecting perfection in communication and execution.

Paint made the cameras not work is what I heard. That’s happened to other manufacturers too, it just ain’t gonna work.

Hmmm...With all due respect I'd appreciate it if you could share my posts from this thread with the senior sales team as well. LT order holders were indeed treated differently than your other customers and I feel they should know how we felt about that.
Thank you

Source?...or rumor??
I asked about this at Delivery but the Lucid ppl there could not substantiate that theory

A fact for Hyundai at least. Metal content in the paint interfered with corner radars.

Marqie is good people but Lucid is not going to do anything for you.
Please don’t state facts about experiences you haven’t had. This is a new sale, for example.

This is my assumption as well, thought I don’t know for sure.

I was going to leave out some details that I know will prompt more questions.
The main 'offer' Lucid made (in writing) was to build a Dream Edition in any color except white. I could choose the interior. This would fulfill all the options (that I wanted) and have DE motors. The caveat was I lost the Lunar Titanium incentive of $5k.
I saw this as, Lucid gave me one option; buy a DE at MSRP or take a much lesser vehicle. If I chose the lesser vehicle I would still be responsible for the transport fee from either the west coast or east coast to the midwest.
When I asked more questions via email, Lucid when silent until the point where I received notification n of my refunded deposit.

I know in other threads I read where potential customers asked if DE's were still available and were told they were not.
A friend of mine on the forum did purchase the last white DE from west coast bay area. It was there I assume for a week and was offered to him from his GGT. Sounds like it is a little with your sales person. Good luck with your next vehicle.

I get it, your experience wasn't great and you are moving on; but is that a reason to spam every single chat with your rhetoric? It's childish at this point; man up! I guess admin is going to delete my post again?
Don't mind the old crusty 🧦 in the corner of the room...
