So you may not have the rear door sound protection/rattle bulletin or the center console one, nevertheless, sounds like it’s worth keeping it. Enjoy! It’s an awesome car.
I understand the difficulty for some in getting service appointments, however it may be worth a call to the service center to see if there are any Technical Service Bulletins that apply to your car. Many are batch-oriented - not applying to all cars, but ones with certain build dates or options. Clogging up a bay or taking a time slot when there might not be anything to repair at the moment is part of the problem of appointments being so far out.

Just my opinion - my particular SC is not backed up so I don't have delays, but I experienced it with the Polestar 3 early on, when I was having Lucid-like software problems. Like 3.4.1, their last update fixed a multitude of drivability issues. With the PS3, I now have a very small rattle in the front passenger suspension, but I'll wait until my new processor upgrade to have them fix that. Of course, my wife said "what rattle?", but I am pretty particular about my cars... something that I happily share with virtually everyone on this forum!
 
IMO Wi-Fi is still not working like it should (though who knows what that should look like, really?). worked for a while, the car was always seen on a LAN scan for several days after the 3.4.1 update, now, not so much. only thing I did differently in that time is wake it up via a (guest) keycard to install mats. since it went to sleep after that is when it went dark on Wi-Fi. could be a coincidence.

maybe it wakes up every once in a while, and checks in and I'm just not catching it via the scan and app. but I'm guessing if I want to use the app to wake the car, it's going to have to go back to a mobile connection only.
 
This is a shore power/charging question. My understanding from a prior SW OTA update is if the car is plugged in and charging, it’s supposed to pull energy from the charge cable (home) versus the battery. Can folks confirm if this happens for them? It doesn’t for me.

Example - Car is plugged in and “charging” - turn on heat in car via app 15 minutes before I leave and miles are 303. I get in car and range is 290. Percentages were 78.4% to 75.1%. Yes, it was 15 degrees outside, but it had 48A - I wasn’t trickle charging. It does this even when it somewhat warmer.

In our X and R1S, range won’t change at all in this scenario. My charge speed might. That is, as more power goes directly to car versus battery, it’s not giving me as much range as if car were only charging, but it wouldn’t impact range.

This seems to be somewhat persistent. That is, I believe it occurred prior to 3.4.1.

Any thoughts would be great.

When I have my car plugged in, but not charging, with the hvac on, the battery percentage will drop 1% (49 to 48) and 2 miles (175 to 173) in 15 minutes.
Not a super cold day (37F), car in semi-enclosed car port, cabin temp increased from 29 to 62 in about 15 minutes.

I've read that with the Lucid charger, you can download a log file that shows activity.
I haven't been able to do so thus far.
There's a thread here about an owner having the download issue, but no updates with a solution.

I suppose you could test and compare the changes in battery level and range plugged and unplugged.
Same parameters during testing.

I do notice I lose less energy and range plugged in than unplugged.

Also fewer instances of "limited energy due to cold battery".
I attribute that to the BMS pulling energy from the grid, via the charger for thermal management, versus from the battery.

When using the app to wake the car, your phone is not contacting the car directly. Nor is the car waking up to check for messages (we call this behavior "polling").

Instead, your phone talks to Lucid's servers. The server then sends a push notification to the car (This could be an SMS, or an Android push notification, or...) that wakes it up.

At that point the car uses Internet (cellular or your WiFi) to check with the servers, which then forwards the request you made.
 
3.4.1 seems to have broken supply side charging scheduling for me. Hope this gets fixed in a future update. I'm using a chargepoint charger

This scenario doesn't make a lot of sense for me. For the battery to discharge while you are charging at 11.5kW, climate control would need to be drawing at least that much. Is that possible? The HVAC for my house only draws 5kW. What seems more likely is weirdness with range estimation and/or a mismatch in range estimation reported by the app and by the car. Because range estimation appears non-deterministic to me, I only look at the battery percentage. Do you see the battery percentage go down in this case?

A month or two ago, I submitted a feature request to Lucid to use shore power when I warm the car with the app prior to leaving the house. This is when you are home, the car knows you are home, plugged in, and you use the app to warm the car prior to departure. I'm pretty sure my Teslas have done this since at least 2016 and it is very nice to have the car and battery warm without wasting any range on this.

Thanks for the comparison. I believe it “should” not decrease at all if plugged in, but some guidance from Lucid could help. I thought this was already a feature but went back and read through releases and the OM and don’t see it.

Or, all those folks who use Home Assistant maybe you can see how much power the car does/doesn’t draw when plugged in and HVAC is on….

I don’t have the Lucid high power charger and don’t use Home Assistant, etc.

Percentage and range both drop. Percentage just seems to equal rated range displayed divided by 386 (I have the 21/22s). So looking at percentage versus rated range really isn’t different, for me at least.

So, yes, I see the drop in rates range and percentage and it’s the same in my app and my car.

I DO think there’s something going on here with the cold weather, but as you mentioned, if it’s charging at 11kw, it shouldn’t take all of that plus battery to heat the cabin. I’m not smelting iron, just want my car to be 72 degrees…

I can see how much power Gravity draws and it most definitely is not using shore power when plugged in and HVAC is on. I would very much like this to change.

Well, that explains it. I think I am remembering back in my head when our R1S got the shore power feature and mixed that release note up with Gravity.

I can confirm there's some adjustment of rated range due to temps.
I haven't driven my Gravity in five days and despite being plugged in to my charger, I've lost a few miles (190 to 187) of rated range over those five days.
I've seen the snowflake symbol and the "energy limited ... " message a few times, but not consistently.
The battery charge level has not changed.

I gained 2 miles of rated range today; just from warmer temps.
Car didn't budge, no charging.
 
ok I thought I was going CRAZY yesterday!! On my air, it said I had 311 miles left after I charged it. Two days later, not charged or driven at all, and it shows 313!!
Batteries are like me. They like temps between 60 and 80 degrees.
 
I can’t remember if I mentioned this earlier. With 3.4.1, my DDPro is now changing the speed limit whenever it sees the suggested speed limit at exit ramps on the highway. Anyway else have that issue?

It’s kind of dangerous, I think. Example. I am going 70 with DDPro on a 65 and my DDPro is set to go 5mph over speed limit. I pass a highway exit that has one of those yellow “35 mph suggested speed limit” and my car makes 35mph that posted limited and slows to 40mph. It’s not jamming the brakes, but it’s quickly slowing down.

This happens every time I pass an exit with a suggested speed. Strange as the suggested speed signs look nothing like the typical white speed limit signs we all know. Hope this is a quick fix. I have another roadtrip this weekend and, at a minimum, this bug makes DDPro annoying. At worst, it’s dangerous given you don’t want to slow from 70 to 40 or 30 when you’re in the middle lane of a four lane highway…

My Tesla would do a similar thing in FSD. For some reason it would do 60 in a 35 at the exact same spot on a street, and take the freeway on ramp by my house at 35mph. Never fixed.

Interesting. Our X FSD has no issue with this. And the Gravity didn’t until 3.4.1. We shall see…
