I've been told a loaner would be available and I was second in line for a loaner while waiting for my 2023 Lucid Air Pure heater to be fixed. It's been over a week and car is not fixed and no loaner. Is this to be expected from Lucid?
My '25 AGT, bought in June, went in for a Driver's seat adjustment and was sent to Enterprise Rental, for a day. Not happy. This was set up a week in advance. The seat issue didn't get resolved. Lucid service had to order as new Driver's seat. On back order, for 3 months(was there a run on gray '25 AGT Driver's seats?). They got the seat into a drivable position & said "Don't Touch adjustments". Took them a week to fix. I told them 3 months in advance "I WANT A LOANER, NO MORE GOING TO ENTERPRISE", After the rep said I was going to Enterprise again. A week before the appt., they called to push the appt. back another week.I don't know, but are the loaners given to the employees to use? How do they appear when push comes to shove?I've been told a loaner would be available and I was second in line for a loaner while waiting for my 2023 Lucid Air Pure heater to be fixed. Actually, I just had my out-of-warranty 2022 Air GT in for a routine annual service, and they gave me a loaner 2025 Air GT, which was very nice.Loaner availability is based on many factors including how close you live to the service center. I've only had a loaner once. Every other time my car needed service under warranty, Lucid covered the cost of my rental. After warranty, you're on your own
That's good. I'm assuming you are near a service center? It's not a secret that owners near service centers generally have a much different and better service experience than the those of us who do not.Actually, I just had my out-of-warranty 2022 Air GT in for a routine annual service, and they gave me a loaner 2025 Air GT, which was very nice.
I've never had an issue getting a loaner from Tesla. The do also offer Uber credits.Just be glad Lucid gives at least rentals. With Tesla all you get is Uber credits.
I’ve been given a loaner at Tesla every time I’ve had an appointment.Just be glad Lucid gives at least rentals. With Tesla all you get is Uber credits.
I had a Tesla. There were times I took my car into service. They ran out of loaners and offered by Uber voucher instead.I’ve been given a loaner at Tesla every time I’ve had an appointment.
Correct. I live about 8 miles from the Scottsdale, AZ, service and delivery center. As a side note, when I was having my Air serviced in early January, their lot was packed with new Gravity waiting prep for delivery. That's good. I'm assuming you are near a service center? i also have a Tesla and also live near a large Tesla delivery center and have never been offered a loaner. Only Uber.I had a Tesla. There were times I took my car into service. They ran out of loaners and offered by Uber voucher instead.
Given that Tesla is going mainstream only (3 and Y), I can understand that. it is like Chevy or Ford sending you to Enterprise for a rental while your vehicle is in for service. The S & X, on the other hand, were selling as luxury cars and IMO luxury car sellers must provide loaners.Just be glad Lucid gives at least rentals. With Tesla all you get is Uber credits.
From Gemini.i also have a Tesla and also live near a large Tesla delivery center and have never been offered a loaner. Only Uber.
