I drive from the Bay Area up to the Sierras most weekends, and the winter gravel that Caltrans applies for traction really pits and sometimes cracks my previous cars’ windscreens such that I have to replace them on average every couple of years. I know that the Gravity hasn’t been around long enough for there to be a good history of windscreen durability, but given the potential cost and time that will be required to replace one, I though I’d ask… Does anyone have any experience with this issue, or hopefully stories of the glass being nearly bulletproof?
