For me, when I get the "Pay Attention" warning, I know I've been looking at something on a screen too much/too long.
I'd be fine with it if it was actually accurate and only warned me when I was actually distracted, but the constant alerts when I've just barely looked down at the lower screen, or when I'm looking a bit off to the side(but can still see forward), or when my hand has just blocked the screen for a few seconds drive me nuts, so I had to disable it.
I've experienced that at times as well.
I did keep the drowsy driver setting enabled just in case. ALTHOUGH... I tried testing it by acting drowsy a few times, imitating what I've experienced in the distant past when I've nearly fallen asleep while driving, like head sagging, eyes drooping (as close to closed as I was willing to do while driving on the freeway), occasional head-jerk up, etc.
It does work. My wife and I have gotten it a few times; it was right all but once.
Yes it does--the screen is in the car. You should primarily be looking outside the car. Ridiculous to call that ridiculous.
I had it trigger for the first time yesterday. Amusingly I was in Park sitting in the car waiting for my wife who had run in somewhere for a few minutes. I was listening to some Atmos tracks on Tidal with my head back and eyes closed when the car starting making bonging noises at me, I opened my eyes to find the drowsy warning. Good to see it works but odd for it to trigger when stationary in Park.
Haha I’ve never had it trigger in Park. That’s pretty funny. “YOU'RE TIRED AND IT LOOKS LIKE YOU'RE TRYING TO SLEEP. HAVE YOU CONSIDERED TAKING A NAP?”

I've gotta try those videos.It hasn't yet and we've watched the 4 videos multiple times over the week. I almost fell asleep to the singing bowls one while sitting at a Supercharger the other day.
This is more of what I was getting at regarding customization and the watch analogy upthread. Even with additional data on the screen I would think you just want secondary information that you can glance at and easily find, such as moving the odometer from a swipe to just a smaller space on the main screen. I'd also like to have all the battery/range info in one spot. For other stuff, I'd be okay with a cloud or rain icon, but not like, stocks or news headlines

Fwiw the speed indicator feels oddly sized to me. It's the biggest thing on there but not demandingly huge, it's dependent upon the negative space for your eyes' attention. TBH I don't look at it much though with speed up on the HUD.
