Mmm, disconcerting to see Rivian and Tesla up 3-4% while Lucid stock just drops. Shows you how much faith Wall Street has in Lucid management.

The software debacle and crappy software reviews will hurt them a lot.

Funny how a few terrible reviews made them release software updates promptly. Guess they were dragging their feet till now. Lucid management digging their own hole

They dont care about retail, period.

You need a new hobby. Surely you must be a troll account or are trying to short the stock.

Go away. It's tired.

Not a troll. I’ve invested in Lucid. Regretting it everyday. Management needs a big kick!

He is not a troll. More likely a little bi-polar. I’ve seen him post about how his Air is the greatest car ever in one thread and then claim that Lucid management are a bunch of incompetent boobs in another post. But to be fair, riding this roller coaster of Lucid ownership at this point in time takes a little patience. Producing and releasing software fixes are a delicate balance. If you rush the software out before it is ready, you risk introducing other issues and possibly major system crashes. On the other hand, if you take too long to vet the software to try to be 100% sure it fixes all targeted issues without introducing any new issues, you risk antagonizing your customers who may think you are dragging your feet.

Who is "Wall Street"?

Technically, the price of a stock is simply what one buyer is willing to buy at and one seller is willing to sell at. More sellers than buyers reduce prices until there is a buyer willing to buy. But, lest we forget, there IS a buyer and a seller involved. One thinks it will go up, one thinks it will go down. Pricing is really sooo simple...

I mean if its truly "the bottom" then logically you should buy all the stock you can right now

Difference between making great product and bad management. Just because you engineered a great car, doesn’t mean your company will do well. You need people who are competent in management, supply chain, marketing, cost containment. You also need to meet the targets you set yourself. And don’t release a product that wasn’t ready. Worst mistake you can make. And they did that twice with both the Air and Gravity.

Not only that, where are those cars Saudi Gov was going to buy? Why release Gravity in Dec 2024 and then silence for 4-5 months? Many issues with management. But engineers are terrific!

Lucid management fell on most counts.

They make such a great product but can’t deliver shareholder value. It creates distrust in the market leading more dropped sales. Investor confidence is at an all time low. Can they can hire a good full time CEO? would anyone be willing to take a job where Saudi PIF call the shots?

Maybe having a Saudi piggy bank was making them complacent.

Dont worry it only can fall another $12 😂
Only $11 more to go…
Not sure if Lucid is taking any measures or may can?

Well, guess the reverse stock split was necessary or maybe it accelerated the decline. Who knows!
If the price of a share goes below a certain dollar value, it has the risk of being removed from the exchange. The reverse stock split raised the per share price, which kept the share price high enough to remain on the exchange.

Probably just not enough bad YouTube reviews. That’s probably it.

Update from Lucid on stock. This is very welcoming.

Not sure chest thumping about debt facilities is quite the win he thinks it is.

Also, if it falls below $5, any institutional investors that are left may bail - in addition to delisting worries, this is often one of the reasons for a reverse split. Funds can own below $5 but often don’t want to because of trading issues and cost.

I just don't understand why the CFO felt compelled to give such a pessimistic projection on the mid-size production ramp. His timeline sounded very much like what happened with the Gravity, which Lucid most certainly must NOT repeat. I think that's the primary reason why the stock is being so badly hammered.

Lucid was very transparent with Gravity.
Peter as CEO stated regarding Gravity:
“It will ramp up gradually through [20]25… we’ve got to get the quality right, and really it’s going to, it’s going to run into 26 before we start really, really getting to high volume,” Rawlinson said.

Definition of Ramp:
When a carmaker introduces a new vehicle (e.g., a redesigned model or an all-new EV), the factory doesn’t instantly produce 1,000 units per day. Instead, they “ramp up” production over weeks or months:
- Start with a handful of pilot or pre-production units
- Slowly increase daily output while fixing quality issues, supply-chain bottlenecks, and worker training
- Eventually reach “full volume” or “nameplate capacity”

Yeah, but he delivered a dozen cars in Dec 2024 then nothing for 6 months. That’s not transparency.
