Finally got around in connecting my Lucid charger. Has anyone been able to get the cloud to connect?

I have the server url as wss://homecharger.deneb.prod.infotainment.pdx.atieva.com:443

Not sure if it needs firmware updates. The lack of app experience does suck, would expect a little more cohesiveness with a Lucid branded accessory. Any insights welcomed here.

There is no cloud thing for the Lucid charger. Connectivity does basically nothing for it at this point aside from getting firmware updates. I'm not positive, but I think what you're looking at is something designed for commercial installations, not end users.

Greetings - I just installed the Lucid Home Charger, and after hours of fussing around, finally got it connected to my WIFI. I went into the cloud settings and saw a URL just like that and just left it as I haven't seen any instructions on what URL to put there. Did you ever learn anything or figure out if there's any benefit to it being connected to the internet? Does being WIFI connected without a URL enable the firmware updates? Any thing you've discovered is appreciated! The user manual wasn't particularly informative.

Don’t change the URL. You can update your email to your Lucid account email and Lucid will get logging remotely.

Got it. That's exactly what I did, so I should be good to go! My 1st Lucid is expected in a couple of weeks, and I can't wait. Thanks for your help!

Just curious--why would I want to access my LCHCS over wifi? I currently have a ChargePoint Homeflex that I can connect to over wifi, and I have never found that info to be particularly interesting.

Right now? No reason. Later? Firmware updates.

(And the possibility of logging charging data, but that doesn’t seem like it’ll be your jam. :p)
