Interesting what they mention about the back up camera not being very useful when it's dark because it has no light. Do those of you who have taken delivery share that experience? Seems like cameras are a weak point, I found the blind spot ones being very low resolution when I test drove it.

No, back camera had enough ambient light for me during night time.

Agree on the blind spot ones, annoying but minor to me.

I did have a Range Rover that got stuck in High suspension and would only go 20mph tho.

Have you tried a reset?

Yeah the reset didn’t work. So strange. Will report back what they find out. Also, if I lock the car the rear suspension eventually straightens out!

And it seems the one they ordered won't have the Dynamic Handling Package. Bummer . . . but I guess a good part of the buyers who would turn to Consumer Reports for advice might be people who wouldn't themselves opt for that package1

wow...as a guy that drives every car in firm control of the vehicle at all times (love driving a 6speed stick!!) I cannot even imagine not getting this on this vehicle! I'd give up all other options (including SS Pro!) before giving up the Dynamic Handling.
What's the point of spending this much on a car w/o it??

I haven't had that issue with the back up camera at night. I think it's a relative experience. My last vehicle wasn't so great for night time camera but the Gravity seems much better than it to me. I've heard others mention the Gravity seemed dark to them but they came from other vehicles that apparently were extremely good night vision cameras.

There is a rear fog light on the left control panel that could be turned on in a pinch for more backup visibility. I have not tried it yet.

Camera on my gravity is much better than Air. Clear and no frame rate loss. Night time isn't great but I haven't had night vision on any car so can't complain. They also got rid of the annoying auto zoom that would make me lose field of vision- thank goodness.

Yep! I haven't had need of it yet, but maybe they need to make that function more known for reviewers

Did you mean EX30? I've got one too, decent car nearly ruined by the terrible fob/card setup. It's infuriating, inconceivably stupid.

So reading about Gravity with same issues is *really* troubling, like, going from my next car to possibly off the shopping list now... Howwww are they screwing up something that's already been perfected, a problem that taints every single interaction with your (very expensive) car!

For apologists saying "just be patient, it's a new brand" - absolutely not. Like someone else said, no one in a $100k+ Mercedes (or $15k Kia for that matter) has to worry about if their f*cking clicker will unlock the door and start the car

I am glad and terrified we are not alone in this sw nuttiness. This points to a fob vendor or core os software problem. Not solely Lucid. They and the other manufacturers are working with the vendor to get it right. Is it QNX or the Alphabet/Google/Android OS of the interface?. The geely /volvo cars run this Android frontend sw right? So I’m glad that the pressure on vendor to correct this will be higher than simply Lucid alone… Terrified that the vendor and customers (Lucid and Geely ) might be in a finger pointing war with the vendor rather than a lets fix this asap cooperation.

Anyone have issues with the Rear air suspension lowering to lowest level, but the front staying at the highest level?? Car looks ridiculous. See pics. Service center hadn’t heard of it before. Taking it in next week.

Turning on or off easy entry did not improve or trigger this it seems.

If so, do you have an issue with music pausing in the cars if both are on the road at the same time?

I've not noticed a problem in backing at night, and we back one of our Gravities into our garage routinely. I was just assuming the back-up lights that come on in reverse provide sufficient light.

I, too, think the Dynamic Handling Package is the must-have option (and kind of at a bargain price, too). However, I recognize that many buyers will be stretching a bit to afford a Gravity and might have to find ways to shave the price as much as possible. And their priorities in doing so might be different from us driving enthusiasts: teenagers who want the beefier sound system, older drivers who want the massage function, etc. I suspect a lot of Tourings will be put on the road without the Dynamic Handling option (assuming Lucid will even offer it on that trim).

Yes I also have a ‘25 Air Pure! No issues with the music pausing in that way that I’ve noticed, though we haven’t had the gravity that long yet. I’ll let you know if it happens.

After a soft reset, I was receiving an error that my "USB drive does not meet the minimum speed requirements" — but after a hard reboot I saw the "to record, set up Halo Secure" message. After completing the prompts, the Halo Secure menu opened and lo and behold! my previous recordings were saved and available in the app!

Gah never mind, Halo still doesn’t work for me in 3.3.5. Camera is grayed out and when I click on it I’m told I still need to set up Halo. When I do, I can see the previous recordings but can’t make new ones unless “set up Halo.” Infinite loop

Do Halo videos only show up in the car? I have live view on the app but there are no recordings. I did set up Halo in the car with USB stick etc.

Not sure if anyone has seen these two "bugs"

-wipers staying in lowest level when you just want it to pulse once. Tapping on the left stalk button is supposed to pulse wipers once. In my vehicle it triggers the lowest level setting and you have to actively shut it off. Only happens once per startup and then it behaves as expected

-creep mode (such a apt name) doesn't stay on default upon restart even they it is a selectable drive mode deep in the settings, which suggests it should be default-able (btw I love this implementation and beats the "tap setting in the air")

I have seen the wiper bug.

Later, I noticed in the app that the software version was listed as 3.3.2, so I checked the vehicle and it IS actually updated to 3.3.5. I've rebooted my iPhone and the Gravity, but I still have this mismatch between the vehicle and the app on the current software version. Has anyone else seen this?

Yes, it seems to happen to just about everyone after delivery and will fix itself when the next update happens. Probably something to do with how they do the update at the service center.

Thanks everyone in this Forum for all the help and shared experiences! IT has been incredibly useful, especially as a new owner. We picked up our Gravity Grand Touring about two weeks ago, and I ran into this same mismatch between the vehicle and the app.

The studio initially told me everything was fine and that since the car showed 3.3.5, I could ignore the app showing 3.3.2. But the folks here definitely made me feel like it was worth double-checking, so I pushed for a deeper look and I’m glad I did.

Concern:
Vehicle displayed 3.3.5, but both the Lucid app and Lucid Garage continued to show 3.3.2.

Cause:
It turned out to be a partially failed software update. The update completed on the vehicle but didn’t sync properly on the backend systems.

Fix: (Nov 12, 2025)
Service ran a software analysis and found the update was incomplete. They reinstalled the software, and after that all systems , the vehicle, the app, and the Lucid Garage correctly shows 3.3.5.

So if anyone sees the same mismatch, it’s likely due to an incomplete update, and a reinstall by the service team will resolve it.

It's been mentioned previously here, yes. Some of speculated that it's a software problem, and the camera is capable of low light operation. But I don't think we know for sure.

is this true, owners? My Land Rover's camera and lighting is great in the dark.
