Unless I simply can’t find it but the audio settings I’ve found are very different than the ones Lucid is promoting in a Gravity video online

Lucids version

nope. I guess another feature coming....soon...

It’s from 3.3.8 which was pulled quickly, so only those who 100% trust software updates can have better audio 😛
I’m kidding…

LOL! Well I’m on 3.3.8 and no dice!

Even with the disclaimer “subject to availability, model, region” it still irks me to no end when companies do this making out like it exists already. For those of us who have Surreal Surround Sound (the optional hardware required) we don’t have these options nor know when we will get them.

Rant over….

Also, why are emojis in posts causing issues with posting replies in threads? I’ve found numerous times that I’ve had to remove them in order to post a reply etc.

Ok…. Rant officially over now, lol

Could you please direct message me the exact message with emoji you tried to post that resulted in an error? Thank you!

DDPro2, Terrain Mode, Camping Mode, CarPlay...all shown or announced...oh, and gap-cover for behind 2nd row...
Don't forget Android Auto! That's my gating item for placing an order.

So I'll be seeing you at a Lucid event in 2 years time with your Air still waiting then 😂 :p

To be fair this is standard practice for car manufacturers; it's not just Lucid.

😆 The first vehicle to be fully baked and available will get my order:

Gravity (waiting for Android Auto - Godot timeframe is possible)
Cayenne EV (waiting for details - Nov 2025)
Polestar 3 2026 with NACS and 800V (waiting for details - Dec 2025)
Volvo EX60 (waiting for details - Jan 2026)
Rivian R2 (waiting for details - Mar 2026)

All have native Google maps, so no Android Auto required, except for Gravity

Yeah I agree. It’s pretty common. Lucid had also done that with Air, showing non-existent features such as executive seating, not to mention V2H. Don’t get me wrong I love my Gravity and would still pick it over any other vehicle, however I think BMWs recent advertising campaign of selling a functional car that does what it claims should make others take notice that car buyers are getting fatigued with vaporware or tech that doesn’t work or features that are not available yet.

I get it for things like DreamDrive, Hands-Free, AR HUD (maybe) etc. be ambitious and promote what you’re aiming to achieve sometime in the future as these are big enhancements. When it comes to basic things like what they’re advertising here, it should’ve been in the car from day 1 for those who had the Surreal Surround Sound package. They did the same thing a month or so ago showing people eating popcorn and watching a movie and when I called them out on it they pulled the video and re-worded it before re-posting.

People are already annoyed with the software and then to just promote features of it that aren’t available is kind of like a slap in the face and a little bit disconnected from reality.

Yeah I hate to be hard on them because so much of the vehicle is great, but when I get into the car and wonder what kind of HVAC system I’ll get this time because its behavior is more erratic than Elon Musk on a Ketamine bender, and then see a video of somebody watching a movie in the car, which it cannot do (I saw that also before they pulled it), it does get irritating to see this future fantasy car portrayed as if that’s what you’re getting.

Nick Twork has addressed it with the Marketing team.
