Has anyone successfully converted over to Voltie, what steps did you take?

My charger is maxing out at 2 kw, should be at 19 kw.

They put in the instructions not to re-pair the device. So I am just waiting for their business hours to contact them on how to get it unstuck.

When I got my Air three years ago my JuiceBox did not work as a smart charger because it could not wake up the Lucid. The JuiceBox would only work as a “dumb’ charger so I just used the Lucid twelve hour window. That was three years ago.

With the OpenEVSE board can you now program the JuiceBox to work with a Lucid Air as it was intended?

The Air does not work with externally scheduled L2 charging, with any EVSE. You have to use the scheduled charging feature in the car instead.
The only way I've found to get around this is to use Home Assistant and the Lucid Integration to wake the car up at the time you want charging to start.

I literally have this set up with the Wallbox and the Gravity and it works fine; I scheduled it on the Wallbox and the gravity wakes up no problem. I haven’t tried it on the Air in ages because I use the LCHCS for that mostly, which doesn’t have the scheduling feature

That's great to hear! I should try it on the Air again to see if it's been fixed.

I tried using external charge scheduling on the Air this morning. It still doesn't work. Nice to know that Lucid fixed it on Gravity though.

I have had a JuiceBox since I bought my 2013 Touring. I have had no trouble charging using the in-car controls to charge at a certain time.

@borski, would you recommend the Wallbox + Power Boost to someone? I'm starting to research my options for an L2 charger with load sharing functionality for the Gravity.

Yes. It has been flawless. I think I updated the firmware? lol, that’s been the maintenance

I even have it “locked” and gave my best friend access through the Wallbox app so he can charge at my house, it tracks it automatically, and I can just bill him later. (He lives in an apartment without a charger)
