No. I’ve not had to reinstall the iOS app. Sometimes you have to “pull” the app update by going to the App Store and looking at the app, but I think that’s just because I am impatient and don’t wait for the notification.I'm new to Lucid, (Gravity X 2 weeks...) My app was an earlier version with no update available on my IPhone. I had to delete and then reinstall the app to get to version 2.10.0 Is a reinstall of the app typically required?
Simple fix.when they will fix the air key fob
Bluetooth on and phone not connected to other nearby devices? My phone auto connected to my car (obviously not my GGT) audio system. Turned car audio system off, phone picked up fob, and update began.I tried to do the update, the FOB would not connect to the phone, per instructions moved further away, shook the FOB, removed the battery... Still would not work. FOB no longer recognizes the car... Called customer service and have to take the vehicle to the SC. Folks were all very helpful they had me try a reset but no luck there... Proceed with caution
I shook the FOB,
have you updated the app on your phone?...apparently there's an updated version on the app store (iOS)I tried to do the update, the FOB would not connect to the phone, per instructions moved further away, shook the FOB, removed the battery... Still would not work. FOB no longer recognizes the car... Called customer service and have to take the vehicle to the SC. Folks were all very helpful they had me try a reset but no luck there... Thanks for the suggestion, I had not tried a second phone. I have an appointment at the SC this AM, I am also going to pick up a second FOB.Mine worked fine and updated both fobs flawlessly. Way easier than making service do it.
@BSheppard do you have a different phone you can try? I’d give the phone a reboot too, and try the fob with a fresh battery just in case.
Let us know what ended up being your issue. Thanks for the suggestion, I had not tried a second phone. I have an appointment at the SC this AM, I am also going to pick up a second FOB.
