New to Lucid, and expecting delivery of a GGT shortly. In preparation for ownership, I've been putting together a reference of my own for tips should a problem arise (ahem) or to make Gravity ownership more pleasant and seamless(!). I plan to add to periodically. This is a first pass reference, hopefully it becomes a living document. Those with experience and knowledge, please add to or edit or correct as necessary -- hopefully owners find and share cool features that makes their ownership a more enjoyable experience.



GRAVITY TIP & TRICKS
=================

Soft reboot – While in Park press break pedal, Cancel (X), and Voice Assistant (Mic) buttons for 10 – 15 seconds. You should hear a single chime to release the buttons. Wait for the screens to load.

Hard reboot – While in Park press break pedal, Cancel (X), and Voice Assistant (Mic) buttons for 20 – 25 seconds. You should hear double chime to release the buttons. Wait for the screens to load.

Vehicle power cycle – Park, exit, lock the vehicle and walk away at least 50 ft (or use a good, working faraday pouch for key fob, or remove battery?). Wait for one minute and return to your vehicle. Wait for the screens to load.

Won't detect the keyfob or card

Remove the battery, wait 30 seconds and reinsert the battery in the keyfob while pressing the Vehicle Unlock button.

“Hey Lucid”

Hands-free, AI-powered voice assistant that lets drivers interact with the vehicle in natural language, much like speaking to another person. By saying the wake phrase “Hey Lucid” (or pressing the steering wheel voice button), the system actively listens via the cabin microphones and processes your request in real time: Traffic, weather, EV range, nearby charging stations, request information from owner's manual.

The system provides personalized suggestions (such as restaurants or alternate routes) and answers general queries on sports, news, stocks, and more, pulling information from online sources or internal knowledge as needed. Examples:
• “Hey Lucid, take me home.”
• “Hey Lucid, set the rear temperature to 71.”
• “Hey Lucid, play ‘California Dreamin’ on Spotify.”
• “Hey Lucid, how do I disable Lane Departure Protection?”
• “Hey Lucid, tell me a joke.”

Voice Recognition - Setup
• Access voice settings by tapping the Gear icon on the Pilot Panel, then selecting Applications > Lucid Assistant.
• Enable or disable hands-free wake word access (“Hey Lucid”) by toggling the Lucid Hands-Free option in the settings

Swipe to secondary screen
Swipe from the top right of the ClearView cockpit to move a screen (map, music, phone) to the lower Pilot Panel screen

Kneel mode (caution)
Lowering your Gravity upon parking risks curb damage to the lower side of the door.
 
Suggestions on delivery day:
  • USB for HaloSecure formatted in FAT32
  • Tell SA to not have them install front plate bracket (unless you want them to)
  • Have the delivery advisor (DA) program all key fobs & cards (purchase extra CR2450 battery to leave in the Gravity glove compartment)
  • Recommend toggling off these alerts, unless you don't mind getting constant alerts while driving
    • DreamDrive > Drive Assist > Safety Features
      • Posted Speed Update Alert
      • Distracted Driver Alert
      • Drowsy Driver Alert

This trick also used to be my go-to when I had connectivity issues with the first firmware version. It probably still works for that.

Given how slow the profile switch is in the Gravity the battery method is probably faster.
 
Is there a dummy tutorial on the USB Fat 32 thing? Quick search tells me there are limitations on the size of the USB stick and other considerations.

The car will format the stick for you. There are multiple links to working drives on the forum.
 
Window closing. If you try to close an open window and it goes up then comes back down to about halfway, it's likely a weatherstrip alignment issue that affecting the window up function.

Either: Open the door and the hold the window up button until it closes, or

With door closed and window fails to close three times in a row, then on the next try it should go up while holding the button (will not go up automatically).

Swiping left or right on the left steering wheel control takes you through the views of the left Clearview Cockpit screen (zen mode, tire pressure info. etc.).
Swiping up or down on the right steering wheel control moves you through the right Clearview Cockpit screen (home, navigation, media, or phone).

No, they meant FAT32. None of your Halo Secure videos are going to be bigger than 4GB. The gravity will format the stick for you.

I just double checked. My 256 GB flash drive uses exFAT. I didn't prepare it in any way before plugging it to the car so the car is happy with it using exFAT (which makes a lot of sense).
I also just plugged it to Windows 11 and OS doesn't even allow me to format it in FAT32 (which also make sense based on a lot of limitations - at least from Windows point of view).

Cool! Then this is a change from the Air and I stand corrected.
 
Windows Freezing in Down Position, mobile tech says

"sometimes a software malfunction will cause a window to lose the programming for identifying the closed position. In that case, once the software is rebooted, the affected window should be fully lowered, then fully raised, and then hold the window switch in the "up" position for three seconds.
