Pooor Customer Service

Normally yes, but the registration function is so far removed from the sales process that I find it difficult to lump them together. But you are right, it is an important part of the sales process.
Lucid uses a third party to process registrations (at least with leases). Which makes sense, but definitely added 30+ days to the time it took for me to get my plates, etc.

I’ve been battling some personal things (family, illnesses, deaths, etc.) over the past few weeks and I’m afraid it came out on the forum a few times over the last few days / week.
Life is important this is just a group of people discussing cars. Walk away from here for a while, do what you need to do and come back when life settles down. Everyone would miss you but none would begrudge you time away.

Not that I'd tell you how to live and for all I know this is therapy.

Heh - that’s the thing; I thought I had, and I thought life had settled. Then it threw me a few more curveballs. Everything is fine, and I should’ve walked away for a bit, but I chose not to, to try and maintain some semblance of routine. In retrospect, that was a mistake.

Lesson learned.

Anyway, it’s a volunteer gig and I know I don’t owe anyone anything, despite some people occasionally needing to be reminded of that (and likewise, nobody owes me a thing either). But with that said, when I mess up, I try to be accountable.

This one was on me.

Nah, you have always maintained appropriate decorum, and a good example of of the Dale Carnegie’s books.
Life is tough sometimes, but I have no doubt you”ll be fine.

I shouldn’t have responded the way I did; it came off dismissive and that wasn’t how I meant it. I’ve been battling some personal things (family, illnesses, deaths, etc.) over the past few weeks and I’m afraid it came out on the forum a few times over the last few days / week.

You all don’t deserve that, and for that, I’m sorry.

Please read what I wrote with what was my intent, and not how it came off. Dismissive is never my intent, but I agree that’s how some of my recent comments have read.

I will strive to do better.

I’m sorry.
Hang in there, bro! Life throws everyone curves sometimes. I for one appreciate the time you put in here to help new owners & prospective buyers like myself.
PS: was nice meeting you and your wife at the SJ SC opening
