Previously I was beyond impressed with Lucid customer service. Not anymore.

I have a bent rim. Needs replacement. Was promised by a service rep on Friday 9/26 that I would have an update via Houston service center on Monday 9/29. Crickets. Midway through today, 9/30, I message customer service. Crickets. Then I call customer service and am mildly chastised by the rep that it’s not them responsible for the lack of call, but rather, Houston. So I ask for their help. They cannot get through to Houston. I call myself and cannot get through (Appears everyone went home early? Google says closes at 7pm and hours updated by business 4 weeks ago but perhaps that’s not accurate?).

Anyone have a direct contact to a service rep in Houston?

I would not rely on Customer Care to set you up with a service advisor. Calling directly works much better (generally).

Also, you can schedule service through the app. I see 10/30 as the earliest appointment; you could book that and call to see if you can get in earlier.

Received a call back yesterday. No ETA on the needed wheel. I had to ask for a loaner (none was volunteered) and am getting a loaner *wheel* and *tire* 🤣. But I’ll take it if it makes the car drivable!

The mobile service team in Dallas is FANTASTIC (Chris and Chuy) and I cannot thank them enough for their responsiveness. And now I have a vehicle which is roadworthy while I await a new wheel.

I'll second that. They are awesome.

That’s good to hear. I’m on the fence about getting a Lucid Air GT (now) and I’m in DFW.

If it’s the same person as a couple of years ago their first instinct is to say NO to bigger repairs.

They refused to change my driver side inside panel that developed cracks but the Dallas Team was able to get them to approve it.

I'm really considering ordering a Gravity and live in the Houston area. Lots to think about with all the new car bugs, etc along with this post. Any other feedback on their service location or mobile units would be greatly appreciated.
