Stability Control/Auto Hold Fault During Sprint Mode Acceleration

Hey everyone,
Looking for some insight from the community on an issue I've been experiencing with my 2026 Air Touring.
The Issue:Twice now, when accelerating from a stop in Sprint mode, the car has thrown error messages almost immediately after hitting the accelerator:

• "Stability control unavailable"
• "Automatic vehicle hold fault"
• Speed limited/Turtle mode

Both times, the errors cleared after a full power sleep cycle. The most recent occurrence was when the car had just 568 miles on it.

I initially had an appointment scheduled with Costa Mesa service for November 11th. However, they called yesterday to say the Engineering team specifically requested to see my car sooner, so they've moved the appointment up to September 30th. They mentioned they want to take a look at the rear inverter.

Questions for the community:

1. Has anyone else experienced similar error messages, particularly during Sprint mode acceleration?
2. Have any of you had inverter-related issues? What was the resolution?
3. Is it normal for Engineering to request an earlier appointment like this? Should I be concerned or is this just them being proactive?
4. Any specific questions I should be asking the service team or things I should document beforehand?

I'm hoping this is just something they can diagnose and fix quickly, but curious if anyone else has dealt with something similar.

If they moved it earlier, it’s because they grabbed remote diagnostics or the car logged remote errors. They’re being proactive, and I wouldn’t go on a road trip in the car until service sees it.

Sounds like they are being proactive. I’d wait to go on that road trip, and might even be great to have the Lucid loaner for your road trip.

Lucid takes a super proactive approach when it comes to stuff like this so I’d let engineers take a closer look before pushing the car.

I would be surprised if this isn’t something they can fix pretty quickly though. Hope to see you on the road (in sprint mode) soon!

Thanks for the feedback. I'm happy they are being proactive about getting the car in, especially with so few miles on it. So far it's been a positive experience, I just hope it stays that way.

1. TSC-S0925-020 Front Stabilizer Bar End Links

They are replacing the drive unit which is now on order.

Glad they caught it early and will fix it. And a good thing they caught it before your car lost all power like mine did. They replaced the rear drive unit and once it was fixed another fault popped up they had to replace the multifunction power box.

I’m happy there hasn’t been any fuss getting it taken care of so far. My plan is to drive it like I stole it once it’s back, just to see if any other issues pop up. Honestly, this only came up because I floored it from a stop — otherwise, I probably never would’ve known about it (or at least not until much later).

I’m having the same error, 2025 air, 6k miles in and had a mobile technician come out to do a full inspection. Two weeks later, same”automatic vehicle hold fault” comes back and doesn’t stop. It won’t allow me to go beyond 53 and based on some comments, turtle mode was activated. I had to get off the freeway and could not make an appt. I had the number of the technician so I messaged her. It’s been frustrating to deal with given the car is still new. Hopefully, they will be able to fix soon.
