Software version 3.3.1

You can actually drive a Tesla and reset it on the highway. Just did it at 75mph with FSD on over the weekend. My wife flipped out as both screens were black for about a minute, but FSD worked fine and cat just kept crushing g.
Oh boy, wouldn't the attorney's have had a field day with that!

Well frankly, the software that controls the screen should be considered a secondary system to something like drive. I would imagine each should be independent so that a crash or critical error in the infotainment system doesn't affect drive. I'm not surprised you can reboot the infotainment system independent of the actual critical drive functions. It is the exact reason why I'm frustrated that I couldn't select reverse even though my screens were down.

Not that I know anything about anything, but I guess whatever the boot sequence is of the systems in the car, the bug is happening before the drive system is booted.

I don’t know anything about this either, but do know the drive system and infotainment stuff have to be separate. Hence my Tesla able to reset the screens while using FSD…

I have a disconnect between my app and the vehicle. The App shows Version 3.2.2 but the gravity itself shows 3.3.1. Any ideas for how to reconcile the two? I tried deleting the app from the iPhone and reinstalling. Its preventing me from using the "Live View" feature.
I have the same exact issue. I reached out to customer care who said they will work with the OTA team to repush the software. Haven’t received the update yet.
I have exact same issue. please update us .
Would you all mind DMing me your VINs?

Since the 3.3.1 update I have to use the Lucid app to charge at EA DC Chargers. It used to be plug-and-charge, this is not progress.
That’s not exclusive to Gravity, my Air with the latest OTA failed to plug and charge, and then required me to choose the EA station at a relatively new site in Maine this weekend that never failed for me before.

…jinxed myself now I have bo sound from any source in my Lucid

Reboot time!
I had that this morning. It said there was a server error for every audio source. As with most issues, I put it in the corner (driveway), gave it time to think about its actions, and forced it to sleep with no dinner and it woke up 30 minutes later happy and ready for me to listen to music.

It’s tough raising a newborn car, but you need to enforce your boundaries. And make sure it naps regularly.

You soft, Woke, owners!! When I finally get my Gravity, I am going to take off my belt and threaten “Don’t make me use this!!!” Of course, a few years from now, it will probably disable the Drive Assist while out on the highway and take me off a cliff in response to my abuse.

yup i can do that on my Y too. I also had an instance where the car started and drove with zero screen at all. No backup cameras, no map, no music, no HVAC. It was something.
I think we've all experienced that right? I've driven away with blank screens and had the car reset while driving down the highway.

My Tesla? 100%. Many times. Gravity? No. It’s designed more conservatively (perhaps, “legally”, shall I say?), so as not to do this.

Our R1S also won’t let one reset it unless it’s in park.

Tesla? “Whatever. Not our fault. It’s user error.”

I attempted the installation of 3.3.1 this morning.
Decided to wait until after my weekend out-of-town trip to avoid possible issues while away.

The installation failed at 50% of the process.

Unable to Begin Software Update
Your vehicle was unable to initiate the software updatedue to techical errors.

We are checking for a solution to the problem. You do not need to take any action. For more information, contact Customer Care.

I'm thinking it's related to the defective center console which is being replaced tomorrow; another reason I waited until today to attempt the install.
Will request SC perform update.

The drive software and entertainment software are 2 different systems.

While not 3.3.1, my Lucid phone app updated yesterday…not sure what fixes it includes.

Well my live view doesn't work, but it's the first time I've tried to look at it while the car is charging.

It says live view not available while the car is waking up. 🤷🤷

Both car and phone on wifi, but separate networks.

I think the phone app update from yesterday was focused on Lucid being able to receive logs from the app if/when they need and ask for them or when car is in service.

So when the vehicle says its on ver 3.3.1 and the App as well as Lucid Service says its on 3.2.2. which version is the vehicle really on? I had a lady from Lucid yesterday tell me that if their system says the vehicle is on 3.2.2 then that's what its on regardless of what the vehicle shows but that doesn't make sense to me especially when the install log shows they installed 3.1.1 not once but twice.

I guess only Lucid knows this because of “their system” - did she tell what she is looking at?

But I’d expect whatever the vehicle is showing on its screen as the SW version is the version.

The app can be disconnected in some way from the vehicle, so I don’t see how we’d rely on the app for vehicle SW number.
