Before the site went live SAs were able to send the direct links to order them through the site, I've had a few in the past that weren't my spec. So they are tied in together somehow.

That’s a good point. But they do have the “almost done” pipeline view we don’t have.

Who knows. I just hope they’re not selling an inventory car that’s an exact spec for an existing order. I’d expect they’d have the sense to try to place the car first. Probably depends on your SA…

At this point, I’d pay extra for stable software on the Gravity in my driveway. 😂

It would be nice if someone cancelling a particular spec would automatically get it reassigned to the next person in line with the same spec, but based on my experience I don't think that's how it works.

My SA sent me an inventory link a couple weeks ago for a car that she said someone had cancelled that was in fact an exact match for mine (ordered end of May). I accepted it and after a somewhat weird series of events still have that car as my official order at this point, even though my SA can't really tell me when it began or should finish production (hence why I'm still browsing for fully baked cars).

But anyway the point is I think anyone could have snagged that one regardless of what they had ordered if I didn't happen to get to it first.

I think you’re right.

Also, the reason I went to an inventory car is it was literally on its way to the SC and was arriving day after I snagged it.

I wouldn’t grab a car that says “available in 2 weeks” instead of one’s existing order. Lots of folks on here have had cars get stuck somewhere along the way for mystical reasons. And lots of folks have had it work out fine. If a car is available now, and it matches what you want, grab it. Otherwise, I’d wait. Of course, that’s just my ten cents, my two cents are free…
 
Bruh (as my kids would say), do these sites just have nothing better to do? They’re more desperate than I am to get Gravity into!

Now, off to make up reasons to drive my Gravity around town…my wife loves the car. Not driving it, but because I am the king of running errands now and taking kids all over..

There's an almost base model Black on there now.

Yeah, Lucid is going to the Ferrari/Porsche 911 model. Limit supply, so that they can jack up the prices. Pretty soon they will require that you previously have bought at least 3 Airs before you can get a Gravity allocation.
 
I mean, this IS kind of a whack configuration, like Nick Twork said…he kind of implied it was a supply issue but that doesn’t make sense.

Wonder how it drives without dynamic handling? Never driven one without it. Or massaging seats.

Three Gravity’s were there, now gone…. To anyone who gets a white or bronze stealth exterior: post a picture upon delivery! I’m torn between the two..

I’ve only seen Black and AG posted. Have there been other colors available “immediately” online?
 
This one was on there a couple hours ago, and is either in or on its way to Chicago, so I grabbed it and canceled my order in production.

Actually, this build is probably how my wife would order if up to her. She is more into creature comforts than spirited driving. The key lesson we are learning is, that Lucid is building whatever cars that they have parts for and having no problem selling them.

I consider the Dynamic Handling to be a creature comfort with the upgraded suspension. It's not just about the performance.
