I doubt you will see any with HUD until after first of year. All HUDs should be allocated to the large backlog of orders with Tech Package placed over past 10 months. There is always a chance that an orphan car with HUD shows up due to someone cancelling their order at the last minute.

That requires the Tech Package. Which ala carte is delayed in production (aside from the Dream). That's in part why a grey I have on order won't be ready until like late November I'm told.

Personally, I need them to get even more poorly optioned (touring trim) before it will be in my price range… seriously, base trim Lucids are well equipped for many of us… it’s one of the things to like about the company - they don’t cripple their product to make artificial segment distinctions.

I have been periodically peeking in on this page for the past couple days since going live. There is a pretty high churn rate with cars on list going from 12-15, then down to 4-5, then back up to 12-15, rinse and repeat. I would bet that Lucid has place 100+ Gravity over the past few days. The only consistent on spec is that none have HUD. The moderately high spec ones disappear quicker than the low spec ones but they are all moving pretty quickly. This shows me that there is still a strong demand. One person’s “poorly optioned build” is another’s “perfect build.” This site makes a lot more sense than when they had SA’s calling order holders to offer them orphan builds that were slightly different from their order.

I've been watching it a lot this weekend too but I disagree that there have been that many cars. I suspect closer to 20-25 cars went through. The last 5 didn't change at all other than going away.

It is crazy how quickly new builds get gobbled up. I am picking up my gravity Friday but it does not have surreal sound pro, which I would love to have. I keep hitting refresh like every 15-30 minutes, and if a car shows up, it is gone within minutes.

Surprising given how little demand there is for these cars

I took one off the list and it’s got some damage to it, driver side headlight, driver side door has paint off in 3 different spots, rear door gaps are different, 2 red spots driver side.

It’s pre PDI but who wants their new vehicle go through paint shop touch ups?

That’s fair. We are all spoiled, but the “base” GGT is a sweet car. I needed 7 seats, though. And I think dynamic handling is worth it. If needed, could certainly “get by” with the base!!!

This vehicle is currently at Rutherford NJ, I did not take delivery yet and I requested my SA to get it off my plate. Not sure what Lucid plans to do here, will wait and see.

I did request the cancellation of my order from 11/7 as I was excited to hit the order button and physically get vehicle 1 day later, but that excitement isn’t there any more.

Sh1t happens, but at 119k my personal expectations are higher.
