Gravity; SUV or Minivan

Referring to the discussion of wanting a vehicle that would be a better road car with some good off road capability ( the Gravity ) versus a good off road car that has some road manners( the Rivian) I would go with the Gravity every time. Just 3 days ago my Air bottomed out on a drive way entrance of an air bnb in the Hamptons we were staying at. The entrance didn’t seem to bother the owners Kia and made me curse the Airs lack of air suspension this one time. The Gravity will have none of those problems. My wife wanted me at one time to get a Mercedes G wagon and I refused for the same reason I didn’t get a rivian. Great off road capability at the expense of road manners and ride

I saw a real EV minivan, with captain chairs. 240 km at 63% SOC. Price around $70K USD.

Doesn’t that equate to about 235 miles at 100% soc? Kind of useless in the US if it made it here. It’s much easier to be cheaper if you’ve got smaller and/or less efficient batteries. And if you’ve likely done very little R&D because you’ve stolen the IP…

Nice captains chairs though. Look like La-z-boys! Super comfy.

Complete agreement here.
The range was my first question, hence the picture of the SOC.
Plus, I have no idea about the battery chemistry and safety.
Wouldn't mind having these captain chairs in the Gravity.

It just depends on what you value. My Mazda 3 scraped all the time, just like the Air; but both were very low cars, even though the Air is a bit lower.
