At two different Tesla locations my Lucid would not charge. I am in rural W. Va and in both cases no other cars were charging—maybe the stations were down? Is it possible my adaptor doesn't work at all superchargers? Any ideas?

Charging only works at Generation 3 or 4 chargers. Were you at a Gen 2?

Did you confirm they are open to non-Tesla vehicles? What are their locations?

Ok maybe they weren’t Gen 2. Again I am in the boonies. Is there a way to tell?
The Lucid app will only recommend compatible stations. The Tesla app has a feature where you can add your vehicle and select “charge my non-Tesla”

Problem figured out thanks. As Borski implied, both stations are listed in the Lucid app as incompatible. I had simply asked CarPlay to take me to the nearest supercharger. Another lesson learned. Thx to those who responded

On the nav / map icon, click the charger icon. Blue means compatible; grey means not.
Great input. I see the chargers there. One question though. I prefer Rivian Adverture network chargers as they tend to always work. How do we get Rivian on the list of chargers in the Lucid app?

You can’t. These are the brands integrated today. Send in a request to add Rivian. Or use the Rivian app.

Plugshare will also list "Open to Non-Tesla" if available
