the HUD life chose you.

If you’re really lucky, your asset could be one of the white GT we’ve seen in photos, but I would guess those were made without it, and that pushed your vin assignment back

Update: the first contact from the SA was to connect our order with “an asset” (his words), which someone else completed between then and a call this afternoon. He said that means we have a “fully loaded” vehicle attached to our order, and the VIN will come later. He said it is fulfills our order (bronze, ojai, smallest wheels, with all options), with delivery sometime end of Sept to early October.
No update to the dashboard.

This is our situation too. We have a bronze with HUD and fully loaded (but smaller wheels than we want) and the word "asset" was used too. No VIN and dashboard still says Order Confirmed. Our original order was bronze, then we decided to switch to black because we didn't want to wait. But our SA was able to find a bronze in the list of "assets" so we switched back to that.

Yes, we know this, and it means we have something in some stage of production that’s more than just a confirmed order. I was even told the vin will come later.

I wonder if these asset assignments for bronze and white model productions is a combination of fresh hardware and improved production capability. If so, that would be good news

This is also how the SA conveyed "asset" to me. It seems it doesn't really give us a clear timeline though.

My SA confirmed today my Supernova Bronze GGT with Technology package is entering assembly line first week of October. From then it takes about a month for their QA testing, DMV/Vin related assingment and paperwork, and transporting the vehicle to delivery area. I was told to expect end of October or beginning of November delivery.

I confirmed that mine is in ‘batch” status which means build components are being or are allocated. Same timeline info as you indicate.

Why answer question, meant for somebody else? The timeline information my SA communicated, which I shared in the post he's asking about, is specific to my own order date. Your order date being nearly 3 months after mine is not going to give him any helpful insight, because my delivery info isn't applicable to the date of your order.

It's not as simple as my order date - in my case, my order was given queue priority based on personal circumstances. I ordered early Feb, 2025. Previous Lucid vehicle owners and some cases with special circumstances are given priority, so my delivery date is not necessarily indicative of the general orders' queue timeline. Lucid also mentioned to me Supernova Bronze batches could take anywhere between 1 to 4 months, but first one starts in October 2025.
