Hello all. Just wondering incase it was wsomething basic I missed. Have a late July build GGT. I have 2 cars seats installed in the 3rd row. Seats do not seam to have any electrical sensors from what I can see except for seat belts. But when my boys are in their car seats after a hot day. We can’t seem to get any air to flow from the vents. I have confirmed that they are open and the back HVAC screens are on in every conceivable combination. Was thinking it was occupancy based but sat in there with seat belts buckled and still no air. This is the case for both sides. Thanks in advance if anyone had the same issue or in the same boat?

That’s odd, as I specifically tested this in my test drive gravity and the 3rd row vents worked great if I was sitting back there as long as rear climate was turned on in the HVAC controls. If your rear climate is turned on and the vents are not closed and the kids are sitting back there with no air flow but the second row is getting airflow from second row vents then I’d text service.

test it without car seats. My car seats sit OVER the sensors in the seats so it looks like no one is in the chair.

Is there a workaround for this (towel or mat under the seat to activate the sensor)? It would be nice to make sure those car seats get good airflow…

I think those of us with dogs are still wondering what the 3rd row HVAC situation is for them. In both 7 seaters with the 3rd row folded, and 5 seaters.

I was told by service that you can manually turn rear vents on via pilot panel. We have a kid who’s below the weight limit (52 lbs) so doesn’t trigger the vents. On my list to test this out.

Can't check it myself, as I don't have my Gravity yet. But I'll be very interested to hear the result of your investigation.

I haven't seen a way to do this. I will poke around more, but I'm pretty certain this doesn't yet exist (and definitely should).

This is what my service report said: "Tested AC vents with the rear passenger screen off but using the main driver controls to turn the rear AC on, found proper airflow through the 3rd row passenger vents on both sides."

@hydbob can you share your experience with car seats and usability/access in the Gravity? I’m not sure of many others with lots of experience with car multiple seats.

We would have 3 car seats, two forward facing and one infant/rear facing. Not sure if you have tried 3 across or accessing the 3rd row with two installed in the 2nd row? Any insights you have will be helpful!
