Not a window, the glass roof. It goes nearly all the way back to the rear of the Gravity above the 3rd row. (Cargo area for me since I didn't even order the 3rd row seats.)
 
I'm in California. We regularly drive from LA to Idyllwild and there's about a ten minute stretch of 243 where the Lucid goes silent (no Sirius, no Tidal) because there's no cell service. It takes a long time to reacquire even when our phones come back online. Just roll down the windows and listen to the birdies I guess.

A satellite antenna seems like a reasonable thing to expect at this market point, but if I could only ask for five five things to be improved on the car, I don't think this would make the list. It's not enough of a problem.

Starlink Mini does not work through the Gravity glass roof. It does work through the back windshield or side windows.
 
Ok, I”m an old guy and some of this I don’t get, but I’ll tell you my experience. FIrst, lucid was very little help when I contacted them on several occasions. My Sirius works fine at my house. When I leave the driveway it can’t find a signal. I live in Vermont but not in the middle of the woods. Once I lose signal it’s won’t reconnect. Having Sirius reboot sometimes works but not generally. If I turn the WiFi off it works fine. So I think that is the problem. Lucid sort of agreed and told me to leave the WiFi off, which I do. I’ll turn it on again when an update is due. What this all means, I dunno. It’s a PIA and was a PIA but if that’s the worst thing, no biggie . Can someone explain it better? Thanks…….
 
That makes total sense. Maybe what is happening is, once you drive away the system is stuck trying to connect to your home WiFi which is no longer available. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think WiFi needs to be on unless you are updating software.

That's exactly what's happening. It's really bad in my Tesla, happens occasionally in my Air. Tesla service was no help and tried to tell me it was normal ops. At times it would resolve a couple of miles from my house. Other times I had to go in and manually turn the wifi off to force it back onto cellular. In the Air it has always resolved itself within a mile or two.

This is single handedly one of my biggest complaints about the car(s). I hate the suggestion to switch to CarPlay/AA bc it doesn't get to utilize the Lucid UI
 
Yes, in my experience the Air can't handle the handoff from WiFi to cellular, so I leave WiFi off.

I have daily issues with SiriusXM not connecting or loosing connection and telling me to try a different channel, but I have no issues with SiriusXM running on my phone and connecting to the car using Android Auto. So, Lucid could fix the problems it seems.
 
I also have this issue and if I do a reset the problem almost always fixes itself. This leads me to conclude that it is solely a Lucid sw issue.

Have you figured out a way to reorganize the favorites in the car? If you change it in the app does it reflect the changes in the car?
 
Just took delivery of my GGT last week...and overall, what an extraordinary vehicle. I'm posting on the SXM thread here because of some experience in that regard. I was the founder of XM Satellite Radio back in 1997 so I obviously have a huge affinity for SXM...and like many of you, was disappointed to find the Gravity did not include a satellite radio receiver (and relied instead on cellular). I mostly drive in areas with solid cell coverage, so it isn't a personal problem for me...but the reason I created satellite radio in the first place was to provide seamless coverage for road trips and rural coverage. Cell coverage has certainly improved over the years, but no doubt there are gaps that remain...and that is a major hassle with Lucid's implementation. The other MAJOR issue I have (which others have noted as well) is the system not retaining the 'Favorite Channels' presentation...and defaulting back to 'For You' suggestions (thus forcing the user through "My Collection" and then "Favorites"). Just totally bizarre that it doesn't default to whatever presentation was last selected. Would also seem SIMPLE to fix....but who knows when it comes to software updates. Anyway...thought I would post and let you know I feel your pain. PS: absolutely blown away with the GGT handling. Makes my son's Tesla Plaid envious.

This was a huge miss for them IMO, it's so annoying to be driving down the road with no audio and this was in a densely covered cellular area.

You're lucky it only happens 20% of the time. Happens every day to me in the middle of San Diego. Lucid won't fix it because they can never replicate the problem. Phone never works either.
 
I have had the car for a month now and it constantly loses bluetooth and sirius. We live in San Diego so I know there are no dead spots. I am going to try turning off wifi (although my wife says hers is not on and the car still loses connection). She is not a patient person. With all the weird quirks I am afraid she may push it off a cliff or send it to Mexico.
 
Living in the middle of New Mexico, cellular coverage can be a problem when off of one of the two interstate highways and I like the two lane roads. That is why I am so busy with ripping my CD collection and gathering a boatload of USB sticks.
 
NO SATELLITE RADIO, ONLY Sirius XM Streaming which means no cell tower no music. It does not have or offer SIRUS XM SATELLITE RADIO. (TESLA HAS IT BUILT INTO THE MODEL X AND S. NO SATELLITE, NO MUSIC WITHOUT CELL TOWERS.

this is not what you are going to want to hear but this will never stop. I have a 2024 and have called and tried to have this serviced many times. It’s just a software issue that they will neither acknowledge nor fix. In fact the entire sound system in the car is absolute trash and low quality. Don’t get me started on trying to navigate through the XM menu. It’s built to be inconvenient. Don’t let them tell you it’s the service in your area either. It goes in and out in every area every single day.
