Lucid Air Touringg
Just got my NACS to CCS adapter and I was excited to try my Lucid Touring on a Tesla charger. I went to two different locations and in both cases the Tesla cords were far too short to reach the Lucid charge port. I would have had to park sideways taking up multiple spaces in order to use the charger. Short of spending another $150 for a cable extender to lug around, the Tesla chargers are going to be useless.

Yes, cables are too short, and should be remedied when V4 stations become more prevalent. Tesla's own charging guide provides directions for charging a non-tesla and includes acceptable ways to park.

In case you aren't aware, you are only going to be able to charge your Air at 50kW at any current Supercharger anyway. Most Air owners see the SCs as a backup option when they're on a road trip.

I second this. The Superchargers' value is really limited to providing a backup option and providing peace of mind.

Current Tesla Supercharger is not optimized for the Air.

Still I want to access it as a backup option.

That's why there's Gravity because it solved the short cable problem by relocating the charge port.

Note that other charging providers are beginning to install NACS equipment. You'll want that adapter for more than just Tesla sites.

In the meantime, find a couple empty stalls on the end:

Also, the V4 chargers are becoming more prominent now and are more non-Tesla friendly due to the cable being longer.

Cord being too short all depends on the arrangement of the pedestals. I've used a few that worked fine.

I was able to use the end stall of the Tesla charger as it has more space allowing for me to pull in at ~40 degree angle. Not ideal.
