Just realized this….Tesla does this as well. And Supreme Court said it was ok. Sucks for consumers. Thought of suing Tesla for their FSD lies…..but Elmo protected himself.

A "Lucid arbitration clause" refers to Lucid's mandatory arbitration clauses, which are provisions in their agreements that require disputes to be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court and include a waiver of class action rights. Consumers who have entered into an agreement with Lucid, such as purchasing a vehicle or using its services, must typically accept this clause unless they formally opt-out within a specified timeframe, usually 30 or 60 days from the date of agreement.

This is extremely standard. I’d critique Lucid’s lawyers if they failed to add a forced arbitration clause in.

Honestly, as a consumer you might prefer arbitration to a Jury trial. Jurors are exceedingly dumb (I say as I’m driving to Jury Duty today) wish me luck, lol.

Yes. Looks like it’s standard throughout the industry, but it protects the company more than the consumer. Another American capitalistic invention.

Yeah, completely standard, and been discussed here before. You can opt out if you’re aware of it and do so within the time specified in the contract (60 days iirc). There is, imho, no drawback to opting out. You can always opt for arbitration, but opting out gives you the choice.
