The HUD in my Gravity DE is out of focus when I am seated comfortably. If I scrunch down then I can get it in focus, but the position required isn't viable for long term use. Page 75 of my Gravity manual states "You can ... manually reposition the display"; however, in the HUD settings all I see is a control for brightness. I've asked my service center if this functionality is actually present in 3.2.0, but have not received a response. Is anyone able to adjust the position of their HUD, and if so, can you please share how you do it?

Thanks!

It’s not an option yet. It’s coming though as the demo models had an option to adjust it. Hopefully in an upcoming OTA soon.

It will be coming in an OTA, I’d bet - it was on some of the earlier versions but they pulled it out to adjust it, no pun intended.

Crossing fingers for that huge Jul 31st update.

I had a test drive on Friday in Seattle. All was good, with exception of the reflection from the HUD (which was not on). I could see the rectangle throughout the drive, which I could live with. When the road changed, and driving into the sun, the reflection was so bright I had to lean sideways to see the road. Lowering and raising my position did not help. Has anyone had success making a simple template to set across the HUD, to block the reflection in such circumstances? I know this subject was discussed somewhere in these threads, but did not readily find it.

I think people are just throwing a cloth on it.

I have heard there is a retrofittable new lens in the works.

While on the HUD topic, a question:

What is the "MAX" speed that displays in the HUD immediately to the left of the actual speed? (I can find nothing in the Owner's Manual about it.) It usually displays the same speed as the actual speed but sometimes varies by 1-2 mph.

If you turned on DA, that would be the default max speed if you touch nothing else.

In the settings, you can set it up to default to speed limit +/- an offset. I have mine set to +10, Annie is slightly more conservative at +9 haha.

But that’s the idea - no surprises when you turn on DA.

But why does the number keep changing? I never use DA. But as I drive down the road the "MAX" figure jumps about constantly, usually between the speed I'm actually going and 1-2 mph less. For instance, if I'm going 35 (yes, I actually do drive that slowly sometimes), the "MAX" number will jump around from 33 to 34 to 35.

It is solely telling you that if you turned on ACC/DA right now that’s what the max speed would be. So if it you’re going 35 and your speed drops to 34, it will change to 34, unless you have a setting set to adjust it.

It’s just telling you what the current default is, that’s all.
