2.8.0 is officially old news. Here's to 3.0.0!
I respect all that you've contributed, and I normally agree with you on most things...but I have to disagree with this one (depending on where you're defining as "haywire.") I agree that hysterics aren't productive, however, I do think this was poor execution. As others have pointed out, it was their choice to call formally announce a rollout date.To all the people that went haywire in this thread over a few days, you need to dial it back. Get a hobby. Calm down. I know they said the 30th, today is the 4th. They missed it by three business days. Have you ever missed a deadline in your life? Of course. Let’s give Lucid a break, I know for sure that they are trying very hard to please us all.
Yeah, in reality @Bobby shouldn’t have said “calm down” but instead should have mentioned the glaring lack of coping mechanisms many people have when they don’t get what they want when they expected to get it. So I’m not gonna tell people how to feel, but rather to suggest trying breathing exercises, yoga, mindfulness, perhaps look at the Gravity serenity display (if it’s functional) and try to embrace the universe and all its imperfections, disappointments and also rewards. Don’t make me post the Carl Sagan Pale Blue Dot video…..No offense, but it would be great if you would stop telling people how they should feel about things. You do this all the time and it is tedious.
I loved Carl Sagan and I have the Pale Blue Dot book. He died prematurely. Loss to everyone.Yeah, in reality @Bobby shouldn’t have said “calm down” but instead should have mentioned the glaring lack of coping mechanisms many people have when they don’t get what they want when they expected to get it. Yeah, but you didn't crash, right. That's good! (I may have tamped down my expectations for this lol)I downloaded mine this afternoon and saw the message 'Hands free driving is enabled' on my way home, but I only spent 10 minutes on the highway, so, didn't have much of a chance to test it
well, at least you lived to tell the story.. I don't think I will get that chance if I told my wife to calm downI once told my wife to calm down. I don’t think she is coming back.
Did you tell her that she was being hysterical? Women are so much more emotional than men. That's unless you count anger as an emotion, in which case I think men might be the emotional ones.I once told my wife to calm down. I don’t think she is coming back.
I can confirm that zero Gravities were delivered to me this week. You folks showing that you've received 2.8.0, and it's working fine, must be lying or hiding something. I heard the OTA was late and that nobody has it. Oh, and that zero Gravities shipped as well.
There's still hope, we have Neil. He puts me to sleep every night, telling the world about his far-out adventures.I loved Carl Sagan and I have the Pale Blue Dot book. He died prematurely. Loss to everyone.
