Anyone try using the Tesla superchargers today? Access is supposed to open on July 31, but the Tesla app is still only showing Magic Dock chargers on the map.

Probably not if an owner hasn't received the OTA that is supposed to start rolling out today.

The updated Lucid app in iOS is showing superchargers now. Even says "adapter required" and lets you know if a supercharger won't work even with an adapter.

I’m just wondering if anyone has actually tired it yet, since Tesla has to actually enable access to the Air on their end

Pretty sure the capability was on Tesla's backend

My adapter will be here in five days, but in the meantime, the Lucid app is showing me nearby Superchargers. Make sure that you are on the latest app update for Lucid and have turned on Tesla in the filters. With the Tesla app, make sure that you selected Yes for NACS adapter or charge port. The Tesla app has been showing Superchargers available for my "other vehicle" for about a month now. Before that, it would show it for the Gravity but not the Air.

I have a Tesla charger in my building's garage with a built in adapter. This has not been working for the past few months, but I will try this as soon as I am home and report back. I imagine, this update will let me charge at any Tesla charger, not just the SCs.

Otherwise, I am also still waiting on my adapter to be delivered!

Tesla destination chargers (privately owned, AC power) and Tesla Superchargers (Tesla owned, high voltage DC power) are very different. It's up to the owner of a destination charger how it is configured, and I have used them (with appropriate charger) for 3 years now. What changed today is that Tesla has supposedly allowed Lucid Airs to charge at their superchargers. Note that a different adapter is needed for each of these.

This is what I had assumed as well. When I moved into my building at the beginning of the year, my car charged at these tesla chargers a couple of times, and then out of the blue, it stopped working. I even tried last night, and it failed.

But I just plugged my car in to the charger today, and now its working again. Could be coincidence, but thats a big coincidence considering I have tried multiple times over the last few months to charge at this exact charger.

This setup will work unless the owner set it to Tesla only. I have my car charged using Tesla Universal charger with no issue.

it seems like their maybe a setting that says Tesla approved vehicles can charge? Because it started working today when it wasn't working in the past. Just my thoughts!

I was able to charge my Air at a 32-stall 250kW supercharger location today. It didn't work when i tried it at the same site a couple months ago. I couldn't figure out how to initiate the charge using Lucid's phone app, so I used Tesla's app, which worked fine. Had to parallel-park for the cable to reach, blocking at least one other stall.

Awesome! Which adapter did you use?

I sure hope its a bit faster than 3 miles/min!

I used our Volvo's adapter. 42kW (about 3 miles per minute) is the Air's limit on 450V V3 and V3.5 superchargers. The Air will charge at full rated speed on future 1000V V4 superchargers and other 1000V NACS charging stations. They're coming.

I updated the Lucid ios app. Under Service Summary the Tesla Supercharger is shown. However, it says Inactive. Does Lucid need to activate?

Nice! And it looks like this isn’t a magic dock station. Up until now, those are the only ones that my lectron adapter would work on

Yes, I heard that Tesla will start rolling them out right after they get FSD working unsupervised.

I think the "inactive" notice just means that Plug n Charge isn't working quite yet. It doesn't means that charging on superchargers is inactive.
It means (in my experience) that you have to start the charge through Lucid's app, or Tesla's app.

And other vendors are rolling out 1000V NACS stations already. No need to wait for Tesla.
