Please be careful, again. It sounds like you’re giving advice from first hand experience, but my suspicion is (correct me if I’m wrong) you’ve still never driven either. That can and will mislead people into thinking you’re speaking from personal experience.
Please try not to do this. You can, of course, post other people’s experiences, but passing them off as your own is disingenuous.
You know I like you; I say this with no derision.
Sorry if this sounds slightly rude, know that is absolutely not my intention and I too greatly admire you (as I hope you know, lol)! I
am, in fact, speaking from personal experience because I am talking about
design, not driving characteristics (which I think was extremely heavily implied, as I started my post off talking about design and the conversation flowed naturally). Since I saw the wheels in person and online, I do believe I can talk about them!
@joec also referred to design in his post:
...They needed a wheel that looked better...
It is
incredibly annoying that I get back to the forum to say one small thing and immediately, this is what happens. But I do suppose I can see where you are coming from, even though I think my intent was clear. I'll explicitly mention it next time, and thank you for the notice!
Yes. If you're speaking purely on looks, that's fine. But maybe make that clear?
Meanwhile, I know I'm the odd one out on this, but I have never liked the 21s, looks wise, compared to the 20s. Or the GT-P wheels, for that matter.
As for this, I do think that was pretty clear, given how this thread has played out so far. Nobody has mentioned anything about performance so far, and the person I was replying to was talking about design. But my apologies if I am wrong. I do agree with you that GT-P wheels don't look great, but I do love the 21s with any color! I forgot about the DE wheels, but those actually do look pretty good too (without the aero inserts).
Off topic, but in my opinion, EVERY single Gravity wheel is better than the Air "equivalent" (of course, I am talking about design...), and that is a very high bar to pass!
