2025 Lucid Air Pure
Just leased the Air Pure and have a destination question. Later this month my wife and I are driving to LV from Long Beach CA for about a week, staying at the Venetian. I am concerned about the heat which can get upwards of 110. Any Lucid owner have any thoughts or suggestions about dealing with this heat and the car's reaction to it?

Charge to 100%. Charge in Baker. Run AC like normal. Enjoy.

Thanks. I also hear that Pimm is a good place to charge as well. Any problems with the heat while in Vegas. The manual indicates that prolonged exposure to temps above 105 is not good for the car.

You won't have a problem other than range. The heat will negatively impact your range but the car can handle it otherwise. Typically our heat here in Scottsdale is about 5 degrees greater than Las Vegas heat and the Lucids (and other EVs) do fine.

BTW, I have spent a lot of time in Las Vegas (for several years Las Vegas Sands -- i.e., the Venetian and Palazzo -- was my largest client) and if you at all like Thai food go off the strip and try out Lotus of Siam. Great northern Thai food.

I live in Phoenix and it's not uncommon to regularly drive in 110-115 temps. You'll definitely hear the fans going, and likely feel them in the steering wheel. Totally normal. Use the mobile app to pre-cool the car before you get into it.

No problems with heat. I've spent many weeks in Vegas during 110+ days and just recently did a trip from Southern California to Texas and back in the heat wave two weeks ago where the entire trip was 100+ degrees. On that trip I covered 1000 miles a day in 100+ temps. No problems with the temps or anything else at EA and Ionna (Wilcox, AZ) charging stations either and was still maxing out at 300+ kW charging speeds throughout the drive.
