At the end of the race of V8 wagons and sedans (11:06). So EV SUVs (or minivans) should be tested and dropped in two weeks.

Horsepower isn’t everything. The GGT is 3.4 0-60 and the Rivian Gen 2 Quad is 2.5 0-60. Lucid is not making up a full second to beat the Rivian with extra horsepower and two less motors.
Got it.

It will be interesting to see what drive modes are enabled on each car and other details such as the exact models used.

I need to know how to identify which R1Ss to challenge on the road and which to wave off. Badging I suppose.

The Gen 2 Quad has blue accents and gear guard Gary on the back. The Gen 2 tri motor will sill beat the Lucid with 850hp and 0-60 in 2.9 seconds. That has yellow accents.
You’re only going to be able to tie a dual motor performance and beat a dual motor standard, 0-60 in 3.4 for performance and 4.5 for standard and both have silver accents.

Misdirection 🤔
It’s not misdirection. You can also see in the video the Gravity has the worst launch of the four vehicles. The Rivian and Audi look to be tied at launch, then Macan EV and Gravity last. And then obviously the Rivian pulls way ahead as you watch the rest of the teaser.

Well now surely I have a chance on the Nurburgring.
Yes?

Can someone link to video direct?

As far as the race, GDE will run the 1/4 faster than the R1S, quad or not. 60 GDE runs gentle, but the power doesn’t let up and it has 1,000lb advantage on the Rivian and similar HP.

$$ on the Gravity, time wise. If it loses half second at launch don’t mean it runs 1/4 slower.

It’s not that hard to find. Go to Hagerty on YouTube, it’s at the end of the most recent video. The OP already stated that.

The GDE will not run a faster 1/4 mile. Also not sure how you get 1,000 when 6,824 (Rivian) minus 6,173 (Lucid) is 651.

If the GDE was faster in the 1/4, then why did Hagerty have the camera equipment on the Rivian? Hmmmmmmm

Rivian has the 0-60 which allows for a closer follow at launch.

Tri-Motor at 6900#+ so basic math to add a bit more for another motor.

C&D estimated Gravity GT at 11.2 which is 1/10 behind tri motor. Lucid didn’t need to add much weight for GDE to get more power, so that should be in its favor.

It is guaranteed losing to 60 but 1/4 I wouldn’t bet on the Rivian.

“That braking is impressive given the Quad’s curb weight of 6,824 pounds.”

“The R1S Quad is also the quickest SUV in the quarter mile, taking 10.5 seconds to cross the line at 128.2 mph.”

Ridiculous to think Lucid is going gain .7 seconds in the quarter mile with the same two motors and just an extra horsepower boost.
