Car won't sleep - 1% Phantom drain per hr

Looks like a new version the android app - 2.4.1 - has been released in the app store. Can anyone else confirm that?
I hope with this app, they have resolved the battery drain issue.
And the memory leak. I'm installing 2.4.1 now.

Thank you for the update. I installed and unlocked/locked the car and looks good so far.

I used the 2.4.1 app to wake up the car. 8 minutes later checked mytestcode api and car indicates it is a sleep. So far looking good. Big thanks to Lucid Devs for a quick turnaround. They must be confident on the fix if being pushed on Friday. Last updated date show June 11th, 2025, so they had a fix on Wednesday already.

Fwiw while I'm not seeing drain or incessant notifications, the app won't wake up the vehicle from sleep. Powerstate is sleep_charge

I'm not seeing any battery drain. Only lost a negligible 1 mile overnight.

I'm able to wake up the car up through the app. Tested some controls through the app, and the car responded accordingly.

If your car is not waking up to the app, have you tried resetting the car?

I just want to confirm again that after a few days of testing there is no more battery drain after updating android phone app to 2.4.1. I used the app to wake up the car. Open the car. Left the app running without closing or force stopping. Turn on wifi in the car in the anticipation of 2.7.0. After all that my car is nicely going to sleep every time after about 8 minutes. I have not tested mobile key. I have passive unlock disabled and I am using key fob.

I've been using the mobile key and can confirm no drain...just wanted to go back to using the mobile key and other functions as I'm used to in order to stress test it ..and it seems fixed now...

2.4.1 is a fix for the concern reported in this thread.
Here because my Lucid app was taking 35gb of space on my phone. (And now this thread explains the crazy drain i had last week! ) Does the fix on 2.4.1 also address the data bloat? I had 2.4.1 installed and it still had 35gb of user data stored.
I Uninstalled for now as car is in the studio for next two weeks or so for repair.

Yes bloat is addressed

Not so much... 15gb before update, 17gb after update... "hey lucid ..."
Seems "addressed" does not necessarily mean completely fixed. Seems two things must be further addressed:
1) reduce or eliminate adding more data (fix diet)
2) flush out the old bloated data. (Start exercising)

I still have 2.4.1 on my secondary phone, "only" 3.69gb data ( no idea what it was before) stored, will keep an eye on it during next two weeks that it's not being actively used and then also once it's back in the car and being used.

Sorry if someone else pointed this out already… I didn’t read all six pages of responses, but the thing in the report that stuck out to me was the “Walkaway Disabled” indication. You’d need to manually lock the car for it to go to sleep.
