Just curious if anyone else has experienced this problem. Three days ago, I got in my two year old Air Touring to return from a restaurant when I saw the following error: "Parking Brake Malfunction: Vehicle may roll. Park in Flatter Area". This remained for about five seconds and then was replaced by "Parking Brake Fault: Contact Customer Care". I was still able to drive the car and I was about one mile from home so I went ahead. During the drive, these two errors would each pop up for 5 seconds then disappear with no error also lasting for about 5 seconds at a time. When I got home, I smelled a burning odor when I exited the car (I had been running the heater but I think it was more than that). I also noticed that the car won't remain in Hold mode. If I choose it while parked, it will default back to Roll in about one second. I have also noticed that when moving the car in and out of my garage, a yellow "PARK" will flash adjacent to the "D". The owner's manual states this indicates a fault with the Parking Brake.
I've called Customer Care and I'm waiting to hear back. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this problem.
Thanks

Did you read my post. and watch the video of me as a car hauler where a Lucid rolled out of park on my lift as I was getting ready to unload it.

1) this is not the same issue; your parking brake did not fail as you didn’t have the same error.

2) please do not post the same post in multiple threads. It is against the guidelines and future ones will be deleted. Keep it to a single thread.

Thanks!
