I've been getting a Key Fob Battery Low warning message and the key fobs aren't anywhere near the car. I exclusively use the mobile key.

Any ideas?

Interesting...I'm wondering if the low battery Fob warning is displaying from the last time the Fob was close. It may keep displaying it until the Fob is brought close again (with a fresh battery). I also don't use the fobs and keep them in a Farady pouch with a couple of extra batteries.

I don't know about why you are losing charge but I would be cautious about exclusively using the mobile key. Phones have been known to fail, get dropped and broken, etc. If you have it on a watch as well, then you already have a backup.

I also started storing my the fobs in a faraday pouch as an experiment to preserve the battery The batteries went flat in a matter of months before that, so far so good in the pouch. I'm an exclusive phone key user and carry the card key for back up access.

I don't have them in a Faraday pouch but might start. I also always have my card key as my backup if the phone fails, which it's done a couple of times!

Westminster Cathedral, England. A POSH place to be buried. Mike Faraday, inventor of the Lucid key fob pouch.
I don't know who that guy is to his left -- some kind of fig cookie magnate I suppose.

We stayed in the Mayfair section for a few days. A Rolls was parked right at the door, and next to it an R8 V10

like this only the limo version. you don't drive these, you are driven. If you want to drive you get a Bentley.

yeah that's a Dubai tag on a custom horsie car. Lambo and Ferrari seem to be common in this area (Embassy Row). Gulias abound, Mazz and Maibach. I saw no "Amerikan" SUV-type vehicles, with the exception of Range Rovers, which are so common as to be "ordinary".

All the cars in London are new, as London taxes polluting vehicles -- you have to be rich to drive an old car in London. Lots of electric vehicles or diesels. Saw a couple of Mustangs (why do people buy these?)... Lots of "cute" mini-cars. About 1/2 the vehicles were scooters/ bikes.

Did not see a single Lucid in London or Paris. About 10 days of looking for them.

First thing I did when I got back was drive my car. Like, before I unpacked... Best car in the world.

I use the key fob exclusively.

The fob battery will deplete whether you use it or not. It may be able to send the low-battery message to the car at a greater distance than the unlock distance.
