Charging abruptly stopped in 30 mins. Is it EA or the car?

Hi,
I am on the 1 yr free EA charging.
Previously I have charged numerous times and I can usually go beyond 30 mins. Sometimes I try to charge up to 90%

Today, my charging session stopped abruptly in 30 mins. Is there anything new in terms of EA’s charging policy or something else which I should be aware of?

EA has adopted and expanded a policy for congested chargers to stop them at 80%. Fast charging is meant to generally be done up to that point anyway.

Yup. It’s not at every EA station, but popular ones will now stop you at 80%.

It's actually 85%. There are several in my area (So Cal). You either have to look at the charger screen before initiating the charge or look at the station details in the EA app. It has definitely helped move people along and keep the stations less congested. I agree, that's probably what happened to the OP.
