Could Lucid Group Stock Help You Retire a Millionaire?

The old joke :

A man goes in for surgery and something goes wrong and he's in a coma for 20 years.
He revives, finds a pay phone (old joke) and calls his broker.
"Good news Mr. Smith. Your portfolio is worth a million bucks!
Just then the operator cuts in:
"That will be $100,000 for the next three minutes ... "

But why wouldn't you buy TSLA instead? It's only trading at 160 times earnings,10 times revenue, 12 times book value, and it's not all that many owners who are embarrassed to drive the car. Sounds like a bargain to me!!!

These articles are obviously click bait. Look...this stock will either be at $0 in a few years or Lucid will be successful. If they're successful, stockholders will do well. Lucid won't "survive" and be trading at $3 in 10 years.

Here's a chart of Tesla stock from the beginning:

If you believe in success, it's a pretty good play. A gamble? Yes...definitely.

I started investing in the 70's and got caught in the bubble. Put it all in a "new horizon" mutual fund and over the years watched to grow 20+% or more each year .... to unbelievable heights.
I thought..."maybe I should diversify??? ... nah..even if it goes down by half I'll still be way ahead."

Agree 100% but the company charts differ greatly from beginnings. With current price in $2’s it’s worth a flyer if you have belief. TSLA stock is not for the meek trading as it can be up or down $10-25 on daily basis

My investment thesis on it is its' trading at ~8.5B market cap, and on a good day with excellent execution it could be a ~24B (50% of BMW) in the future. So a multi-bagger, but not like buying Tesla and being hyped to the moon.
