I have used Gtcech Crystal Serum Light cermaic coating and it is fantastic. I applied it to my Audi 3-1/2 years ago and water still beads up and nothing sticks to it very well at all. It is super easy to apply--it probably took me 20 minutes. It is amazing stuff.

Anyone have any experience using a cleaner such as "Turtle Wax hybrid solutions ceramic spray coating"? Especially for a new AT? Looks pretty easy to apply, inexpensive and supposedly effective. Thoughts?

I have a bottle that I've used on my cars. It's fine, but really only lasts a couple months. Very easy to apply. Not in the same league as a professionally applied ceramic coating in price, application, or durability.

Yeah...that's cool. Looks so easy to apply, it might be worth applying every two or three months. Just looking for a little extra protection as we get into the summer months. (My AT is not garaged.)

Turtle Wax also makes a companion "hybrid" detailer spray that I use between washes for cleanups and dusting. At the time I bought these (2020) they were among the best "instant" products. Not sure if that's still true.

Guys I am telling you this Gtcech is the real deal. Easier to apply than wax and as durable as the "professional" coatings. 3-1/2 years for me (so far). Save yourself $1,500 and try it out. There are some pretty good YT vids on ceramic coatings if you are interested.

Check out Adam's Polishes products.

Graphene Ceramic Advance Spray Coating - you need to apply every year, but super simple and don't need to do full correction.

Or the route I went their small bottle Graphene Advanced Ceramic - probably in the real world 5 years, but the market 9. Application of this was the easiest I've had and far better outcome than the Chemical Guys Carbon Force I last did.

Refresh the coating every month or so with Adam's Graphene Ceramic Boost or Graphene CS3.

I have used this product with great success every month or so. Easy to apply, just spray on liberally while car is wet from hand car wash, and remove it with deep pile soft absorbent cloth. Drying only, no buffing at all. My AT has ppf on it but also use it on other cars that don’t.

Thanks! Buffing with this product means gently by hand using a cloth or does it mean firmly using a buffing pad? I have arthritis and I use the TurtleWax product because it is low impact on my hands. The downside is the frequency of application.

Ultimately why I'm leaning toward the Turtlewax product. Seems so easy, perhaps adding another 20 minutes at the end of a wash. Not such a big deal if I need to apply 3 or 4 times a year even....

It is an easy application by hand. It is liquid, so you apply a little to the included application pad and do a small area of the car(like 2'x2'). Then you take a clean microfiber cloth and buff it lightly until it shines. It is really amazing stuff.

Ordering the larger size bottle today, thanks!
