Will the Gravity be a 2026? Or a 2025 model?

I’m betting they still have an abbreviated run of 2025 just to say they met their promised production schedule. So this means that regular GTs go out the door first in end of April and the start of May or Everything got pushed back another month or two and Dreams roll first then followed by the GTs in July?

Actually, it was @Kzooguy who first reported hearing about a 450-car limit for the Dream.

I suspected it might have been right, as it tracked what Lucid did with the Air: a Dream orders limit of 520 cars that matched the longest range rating of 520 miles (for the Dream Range). The 450 Gravity limit would track the highest range number for a Gravity -- although this time not the Gravity Dream's range.

It was upon first hearing of the possibility of this order limit that I decided to switch our second Gravity order from a GT to a DE. I wanted to lock in DEs for both of us in the household should we want them.

In all honesty, though, I'm hoping get a break on timing here. I'm assuming we are likely to get the first DE we ordered ahead of the second one as the orders were several weeks apart. And I'm hoping that GT test drives will become available between the two deliveries so that we can check out the performance of the Grand Touring. Like @borski, although I have found the performance of the Air GT loaners we've had to be truly excellent, there is still something about the extra punch of the Air Dream Performance -- even in routine traffic and driving conditions -- that really does come through.

However, the power difference between the two Gravity editions is smaller than between the Airs -- and in a heavier vehicle, to boot. So, if we find the difference is significantly less pronounced between the Gravity GT and the Gravity DE, we might conclude it's worth waiting for a later GT with the color choices we want (still no word on when Lunar Titanium will enter production) . . . and that also might have fewer of the early-production issues I'm braced for seeing with the DE.

If the timing of this scenario doesn't work out, we'll just stick with the two Dream Editions and take our lumps. Or . . .

In the alternative, as @borski will be getting a Dream Edition after having driven a GT extensively, maybe he'll be willing to pass on his impressions?

I am, too. But his impressions from comparing an Air Dream P to an Air GT so closely tracked mine that I'm thinking his opinion on whether the Gravity sees as much difference will be a good proxy for mine in my own decision making.

Now I'm curious on whether trade-ins will be considered as part of the lease promotion for the DE, at least here in TX. With the $7500 lease credit, a lease could be very interesting...

I've hemmed and hawed, and decided to stick with my GT order. I'm sure I'd enjoy the extra horsepower, but I really don't need it, and my frequent road-tripping causes me to value range over power. Especially when the power of the GT is still impressive.

I was hoping at some point we would get an explanation of why the interplay of ranges and options seems so confusing, with not only wheel choices but seating capacity affecting range, and seating changes affecting range more on one wheel set than another. Ranges are pegged at 450 miles, 437 miles, 410 miles, 386 miles, and 370 miles. When it comes to the DE, though, the only relevant changes in range from the GT relate to wheel size as there is no 5-seat option for the DE.

In any case, the range loss with the DE seems relatively minimal to me: 27 miles with the smallest wheels and only 16 miles with the mid-size and largest wheels. Since I'm opting for the two largest wheel sizes for reasons other than range, the 16-mile range difference (just over 4%) seemed like a good deal for 242 more horsepower (almost 30%). And I'd really like to see the torque numbers.
