Hi All,

With the current political climate, my girlfriend has decided to sell her model 3 in favor for the Taycan. She has been driving it as her main car anyways so it only made sense. This left me back with only the lucid so as of yesterday, I’m a the new owner of this baby! 2024 Lotus Emira! I drove it home about 350 miles from Vegas and man was it an amazing drive, especially in those canyons north of phoenix. I’ve already put 700ish miles on it since I got it between yesterday and today. And yes, it is just as gorgeous in person, legitimately no bad angle. It catches attention like no other car I’ve owned. This is definitely the ying to the lucids yang as they are very different and I couldn’t be happier (for now, we will see how I feel when I get the new car itch)! Thanks for letting me share my excitement!

Edit: forgot to mention it’s the manual v6 version, 400hp but very light car. It’s a FE so pretty loaded. Bought it used for $88.5k

There are not many of those in the US. Enjoy it but remember you are also its custodian. That is a magnificent car.

So good. I loved my Elise.

It’s quite possible that what’s here is here but that’s it for the Emiras. Speculation has it on their forums that dealerships have gotten their last shipments due to tariffs. If so, my car won’t depreciate as quickly I guess

How long did you have your Elise? Do you ever miss it? I’ve loved every second behind the wheel of this car. Definitely a little bumpy compared to the lucid but it’s been a blast.

Four years. I miss it all the time. I sold it before I started my company, because I needed the cash. I don’t know why I haven’t bought a new one. I really should.

Man that car is so ridiculously 🔥
I'd always had a wild hare for an F-type or Alfa 4C but I know it won't happen. Congrats on living the dream!

@koflo still great?

we're friends, right? and friends let friends drive their cars, right? ... :P

So first off, yes of course! I would have no problem with you driving the car…however the experience was not great with the lotus… it’s currently in the process of being lemoned :( it has a power steering leak that they can’t seem to fix. They tried 4 times already totaling 42 days and counting in service.

On a brighter note, I did replace it with another car that you are welcome to! It’s definitely the ying to the lucids yang!

Please adopt me!!!

There aren't many of those here in the States. Enjoy it, but keep in mind you're also its caretaker. That car is absolutely stunning!
