Since every update we get feels like a gift, it's natural for excitement to build around the anticipation of new features. Looking back at OTA updates (thank you for your tireless efforts @Bobby ) it looks like big updates have been pushed in the first two weeks of February in the past 3 years- Feb 6, 2024, Feb 17, 2023; and Feb 2, 2022. Hopefully we have a great Groundhog day this year!

does the gravity DDP have features not yet available to Air owners?

Not as far as anyone knows. From what I’ve gathered talking to various Lucid folks, the plan is for Air and Gravity to have the same DDP features moving forward. The equipment in the Air is capable of everything they are currently planning on building. At least for the next several years.

There’s a ton of unlocked potential in the Air.

I’m ready for some gifts. 😄

Hopefully, we're nearing the next feature update as we're well over the average and median feature update times. Let's hope it's a significant one!

I think it will be just turning on AA.

Don't forget, they've been busy with stuff lately.

I could certainly go for some bug fixes, 2.6.0 introduced several problems for me.

That would be a very significant one.
Which is already in the code. I hope Lucid dont say thats it you have AA and thanks for waiting 120+days. I know not everyone wants something new, but me/few/many are expecting big things from Lucid from so long.

For once, I hope this forum can just take a win for a win, instead of complaining about how much they wish they had other things instead.

But that’s just me.

So if it’s AA, awesome! Lots of people happy! And if it isn’t, great! Other things for other people! 🤷‍♂️

Obviously it’s a win even if it’s AA. But comparing with everything else with outside competition thats not enough.
I say everyone that ask me, there is nothing that can replace a Lucid for me except its another Lucid. But this may change if competition catches up with Lucid on driving dynamics. Example, the new Y came so far on drive and comfort compared to old Y. I don't want anyone to catchup with Lucid before Lucid catchup with Software.

Before I bought my Lucid, I asked a close friend about his Tesla and whether he would buy it again knowing what he knows now after about 5 years of ownership (I was mostly asking about electric vehicles in general, since it would be my first, but his response turned out to be about modern software-feature driven vehicles). I was totally unprepared for his answer: that although he wasn't sure overall, the one thing that was notable is that it was the first car he'd ever bought that had gotten better in the years he owned it instead of worse, because features had been added, improved, and updated. That struck me as a pretty major upside to the software driven nature of these cars, which everyone is always happy to harp on the downsides of.

Yeah, it's annoying when they have bugs, or new features don't work perfectly at the get go, but it's honestly extraordinary that the car I bought a year ago has more features and more ability than when I bought it. That's pretty cool if you ask me, and I agree that I hope people can learn to appreciate that. I'm not an Android user so the Android Auto patch will mean nothing to me, but as someone who uses Apple Carplay daily, I can appreciate why it's a big deal to people who want it. Take the win, even when it's not the win you personally were hoping for. They haven't quit giving us new toys, and there's no indication they're going to.
