I'm finding CarPlay disrupts other audio sources. When get into the car after I've been previously been playing Spotify on my phone, CarPlay won't let me play other audio sources (XM, Tidal, in-car Spotify). I can start them, but after a second or so it will go back to Spotify on CarPlay (or goes back but doesn't play). Are others seeing this?

I'm finding that alerts from my phone disrupt other audio sources on my carlinkit connected through car play. I'll have Sirius on and send a text message (I keep my phone on silent always) but it will play an alert through lucid and not restart the Sirius music. Anyone have thoughts on how to make it less disruptive and dangerous- definitely not great to constantly have to take routinely your eyes off the road to just listen to music.

Turn on Driving focus, and it can automatically activate with CarPlay. I have mine send a text to people I care about telling them I’m driving if they text (but not everyone), and my wife gets through no matter what.

Use Sirius through the phone app, not the native Lucid app.

But in this case there is no way for the system to reinitiate prior audio source, correct? Not in carlinkit, or lucid carplay connection?

Mine has no problem playing a sound and restarting my audio. But I use Tidal.

Might try this. How is the audio quality?
For me, I think it’s about the same quality but far fewer dropouts. AT&T signal here is kind of weak and my phone uses Verizon which is very strong.

I think this occurs when I've been listening to something (Spotify) on my phone prior to getting into the car. I've found that if a force close the app on my phone, it prevents the aggressive CarPlay behavior.
