2024 Lucid Air Pure
Hi All,
I just picked up my Air on Friday and it came with 20" Summer tires. I am purchasing a pair of 19" wheels and winter tires for the car. My question is will any of the available aftermarket 433mhz TPMS sensors work? As far as I know, these are fairly universal but I wanted to make sure before I had the new tires mounted.
Thanks in advance,
-A

I have the same question. Also wondering whether with the latest updates you still need lucid service to register aftermarket TPMS or they can just get picked up automatically.

Bumping this to see if anyone knows.

Lucid uses 433 MHz sensors. I bought these off eBay which automatically pairs to the car without having to visit the service center …

Awesome, just ordered a set. Going to have them installed in my winter tires when I switch up. Thank you!

Has anyone tried cloning the TPMS sensors? A lot of aftermarket sensors will let you clone or program settings for the sensor. I plan to do that for my winter wheels.

Answered my own question today. Cloning the sensors worked perfectly with my winter tires / wheels.
I used the Autel MX TPMS Sensor and used their tool to clone to the Lucid Factory sensors.

Just got the 20” summer wheels switched with the new 19” wheels with new TPMS sensors (Dual frequency). I switched the setting in the vehicle from 20 to 19. However, the vehicle is not seeing the readings ftom the new sensors. Drove about 15 miles with no success. I searched the forum but haven’t gotten a clear confirmation if service has to do something with the first swap or will the change of settings from 20 to 19 will do it? Can someone confirm?

The TPMS sensors may not be programmed with an ID. The Autel MX (315/433 Mhz) sensors do not have an ID by default (id: FFFFFFFF... I believe)
You can auto create an ID or clone (with programmer) . I chose to clone.

Another member on the board said his sensors registered on their own.

The Toronto Service Manager said if you buy their TPMS sensors they will also learn on their own.

I got 19" wheels with 433 MHz TPMS sensors from Tirerack (whatever they default provide) and my 22' AGT picked up them without issue after a few miles - they've been working perfectly for a few months now

Zero service appointments needed, they registered on their own

If you clone the sensor will it display the correct sized wheels or just the same as the other set?

Yep, my ebay sensors registered on their own.

The unprogrammed sensors I used look like this when new.
Programming them assigns the Sensor ID and frequency they will use.

Yes, there are a options in settings. I only see sizes that were available for options on my model.

Just fine in SoCal. The caps are removed and reinstalled every month or two to adjust the tire pressure anyway.
