Probably the closest I'll get to the ownership experience, so thank you. And if you want it back I'll happily trade for an indecent proposal-style overnight with the bigger one.

Someone really donated it to the Goodwill ?

I bet owner(s) donated to himself. goodwill is a nonprofit and nonprofits actually are some of the most profitable behind closed doors since they given special tax-exempt status.

wow, nice find!

Wow, I should check the Goodwill store more often! A very nice find.

I sure hope this was an accidental donation. Those were a really nice gift someone at Lucid made for the Sapphire owners :(

I actually scored it during one of my fb marketplace evening nightcaps, right after the seller had posted it (and forgot to remove the $8.99 goodwill sticker). I ended up paying quite a bit more, but he deserved an epic finders fee for my new, prized desk trophy. For the fanboys, it looks like it was really signed by Rawlinson and Jenkins too (ooooh, ahhhhh). Maybe I'll have Christopher Robinson autograph it too since I feel he's most responsible for the success of the company at this point.

Somehow, implausibly yes. And my offer stands if you desire a second one ;)

Hey at least it went to an (apparently more) appreciative home :)

Or the gut that sold it to to lied and it was actually stolen :-)

Shit, good point. Unfortunately the VIN is really small and hard to make out, but once I can I'll run it through carfax and see if it's been reported.

That’s an excellent point. I’m also replying so I can throw in a “Can we please see more pics of your garage, it looks like there’s some new additions since we last saw?” 😉

Those 60s Rivieras are the most sinister cars to come from Detroit (maybe aside from that one red Fury), and I don't care if that debate pushes this thread off-topic

Hooooooly F. The trademark "R" on an LS (9!) is an absolutely exquisite touch. Bravo!

I call it a LS11
