RESOLVED Steering wheel leather curling

I couldn’t find anyone else with this issue on here… the leather (or… whatever it is!) on my steering wheel is wrinkling up near the left steering control. Anyone else experience this?

Wild, I've never seen that. I'm sure they'll take care of it.

Wow. Lucid probably needs to look at this. My Air GT has had very “pebbly grained” leather on my steering wheel from delivery. Mine is getting serviced and the loaner AGT has super smooth steering wheel leather. I guess there is substantial variations. FWIW, I prefer the smooth leather…

I had this same issue on my car and wheel was replaced today by Lucid mobile service. I note that original poster also has an Air Pure AWD, so it is the PurLuxe rather than leather.. Tech says they have had a few similare issues, and surmises it might be due to heat/sun issue causing blistering on some cars..

Yeah they replaced it and sent the wheel in for analysis. They told me at that time they had never seen it.
